ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാള്‍ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ വോട്ടെണ്ണല്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ മമതാ ബാനര്‍ജിയുടെ ഭരണം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ബിജെപി ഭരണം പിടിക്കുകയാണ്. ഏറ്റവും ഒടുവിലെ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടു പ്രകാരം 176 സീറ്റിലാണ് ബിജെപി മുന്നണി മുന്നില്‍.

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മമതാ ബാനര്‍ജിയുടെ തൃണമൂല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് 94 സീറ്റില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങി. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് വട്ടപ്പൂജ്യത്തില്‍ എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ കാല്‍ നൂറ്റാണ്ട് സംസ്ഥാനം ഭരിച്ച സിപിഎം നയിക്കുന്ന ഇടതു മുന്നണി ഒരു സീറ്റിലെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്കു മൂന്നു സീറ്റില്‍ ലീഡുണ്ട്.

പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളില്‍ ആദ്യമായി അധികാരത്തിലെത്താന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങി ഭാരതീയ ജനതാ പാര്‍ട്ടിമുന്നേറുകയാണ്.

ഏറ്റവും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ മത്സരത്തില്‍ ഭവാനിപുരില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മമതാ ബാനര്‍ജിയും ബി.ജെ.പി നേതാവ് ശുവേന്ദു അധികാരിയും തമ്മില്‍ കടുത്ത പോരാട്ടമാണ് നടക്കുന്നത്. ആദ്യ റൗണ്ടുകളില്‍ മമത ഏകദേശം 8,000 വോട്ടുകളുടെ ലീഡ് നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.

അഴിമതി ആരോപണങ്ങളും ക്രമസമാധാന പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളും ഉയര്‍ത്തിക്കാട്ടിയ ബി.ജെ.പി പ്രചാരണം വലിയ ചലനമുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് മുന്നോടിയായി നടന്ന സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ഇന്റന്‍സീവ് റിവിഷന്‍  വഴി 90 ലക്ഷത്തോളം പേരുകള്‍ വോട്ടര്‍ പട്ടികയില്‍ നിന്ന് നീക്കം ചെയ്തത് വലിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ തര്‍ക്കങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വഴിവച്ചിരുന്നു.

സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യാനന്തര ബംഗാളിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്‍ന്ന പോളിംഗ് ശതമാനമാണ് ഇത്തവണ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത് (92.47%). ആര്‍.ജി. കര്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് സംഭവത്തിലെ ഇരയുടെ അമ്മ (ബി.ജെ.പി സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥി) പാണിഹത്തി മണ്ഡലത്തില്‍ ലീഡ് ചെയ്യുന്നു.

ഡാര്‍ജിലിംഗ് മേഖലയില്‍ തൃണമൂല്‍ സഖ്യകക്ഷിയായ ബി.ജി.പി.എം ലീഡ് നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നു.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is surging forward, preparing to take office in West Bengal for the first time.

In the most closely watched contest in Bhowanipore, a fierce battle is underway between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. In the initial rounds, Mamata maintains a lead of approximately 8,000 votes.

The BJP's campaign, which highlighted corruption allegations and law-and-order issues, has created a significant impact. Prior to the elections, a "Special Intensive Revision" resulted in the removal of nearly 9 million (90 lakh) names from the voter list, triggering major political controversies.

This election recorded the highest voter turnout in post-independence Bengal at 92.47%. Notably, the mother of the victim in the RG Kar Medical College incident, contesting as a BJP candidate, is leading in the Panihati constituency.

In the Darjeeling region, the BGPM, an ally of the Trinamool Congress, maintains a lead.
