തൊടുപുഴ : എല്ലാ പാര്‍ട്ടിയിലും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുണ്ടെന്നും അതിനാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടിയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചരണത്തിന് ഇറങ്ങിയില്ലെന്നും നടന്‍ ആസിഫ് അലി. താന്‍ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെയും ഭാഗമല്ലെന്നും ഒരു പ്രത്യേക മുന്നണിക്ക് വേണ്ടിയും വോട്ട് ചോദിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്നും വോട്ടു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം മാധ്യമങ്ങളോടും സംസാരിക്കവേ ആസിഫ് അലി പറഞ്ഞു.

സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ തന്റെ പേരില്‍ വരുന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രചാരണങ്ങള്‍ തെറ്റാണെന്നും ഇത്തരം പ്രചാരണങ്ങളില്‍ വീഴരുതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആരാധകരോടും പൊതുജനങ്ങളോടും അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു.

തന്റെ സിനിമകള്‍ക്കും ജോലിക്കും മാത്രമാണ് താന്‍ മുന്‍ഗണന നല്‍കുന്നതെന്നും രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവേശനം തന്റെ അജണ്ടയിലില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

തൊടുപുഴയില്‍ പി ജെ ജോസഫ് മത്സരിക്കാതെ മാറിനില്ക്കുന്നത് മാതൃകാപരമാണെന്നും ആസിഫ് അലി പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവിടെ യുഡിഎഫ് സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥി ജോസഫിന്റെ മകനാണ്.
