കണ്ഠരര് രാജീവരെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു, പതിവു പരിശോധനയെന്നു ജയില്‍ അധികൃതര്‍

Kandararu Rajeevaru Admitted to Medical College Hospital; Routine Check-up, Says Jail Authorities

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ശബരിമല സ്വര്‍ണക്കൊള്ള കേസില്‍ റിമാന്‍ഡിലായി പൂജപ്പുര സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ ജയിലില്‍ റിമാന്‍ഡില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന തന്ത്രി കണ്ഠരര് രാജീവരെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. 

പരിശോധനകള്‍ക്കായാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചത്. പരിശോധനകള്‍ നാളെയും വേണ്ടതിനാലാണ് ഇന്ന് തിരികെ ജയിലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകാതിരുന്നത്. മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജിലെ ജയില്‍ സെല്ലിലാണ് അഡ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.  

റിമാന്‍ഡിലായ തൊട്ടടുത്ത ദിവസം ദേഹാസ്വാസ്ഥ്യത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് കണ്ഠരര് രാജീവരെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. അന്ന് ഗുരുതര പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളില്ലെന്നുകണ്ട് ജയിലിലേക്കു മാറ്റിയിരുന്നു.

ശബരിമലയില്‍ നടന്ന ആചാരലംഘനം ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡിനെ അറിയിച്ചില്ലെന്നും, സ്വര്‍ണപ്പാളികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ഉണ്ണിക്കൃഷ്ണന്‍ പോറ്റിക്ക് കൈമാറുന്നതിന് തടസ്സം നില്‍ക്കാതെ മൗനാനുവാദം നല്‍കി ഗൂഢാലോചനയില്‍ പങ്കാളിയായി എന്നുമാണ് പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം കോടതിയില്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിന്റെ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായാണ് അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്തത്.

രാജീവര്‍ക്ക് സ്വര്‍ണക്കൊള്ളയില്‍ പങ്കുണ്ടെന്ന് തെളിയിക്കുന്ന സാക്ഷിമൊഴികളും തെളിവുകളും തങ്ങളുടെ പക്കലുണ്ടെന്ന് അന്വേഷണ സംഘം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

തന്ത്രിക്ക് ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചാല്‍ ഉന്നത സ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തെളിവുകള്‍ നശിപ്പിക്കാനും സാക്ഷികളെ സ്വാധീനിക്കാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് അന്വേഷണ സംഘം കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ജാമ്യം നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.

Summary: Kandararu Rajeevaru, the Tantri (chief priest) currently held in remand at the Poojappura Central Jail in connection with the Sabarimala gold theft case, has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

He was brought to the hospital for medical examinations. Since further tests are required tomorrow, he was not taken back to jail today. He has been admitted to the jail cell ward at the Medical College.

Previously, on the day following his remand, Kandararu Rajeevaru was hospitalized due to physical discomfort. However, he was shifted back to jail after it was found that there were no serious health issues.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) submitted a report to the court stating that he did not inform the Devaswom Board about the violation of rituals at Sabarimala and was a party to the conspiracy by giving silent consent and not obstructing the handing over of gold plates to Unnikrishnan Potti. His arrest followed these allegations.

The investigation team clarified that they possess witness statements and evidence proving Rajeevaru's involvement in the gold theft.

The investigation team also informed the court that if the Tantri is granted bail, there is a possibility that he might use his high influence to destroy evidence and influence witnesses. Consequently, his bail plea was rejected.
