'അമ്മ' ജനറല് ബോഡി യോഗത്തില് പ്രതിപക്ഷ വിഭാഗം ഭരണസമിതിക്കെതിരെ അവിശ്വാസപ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവരാന് ഒരുങ്ങി. വോട്ടെടുപ്പിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നതിന് തൊട്ടുമുമ്പ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്വേതാ മേനോനും ജനറല് സെക്രട്ടറി കുക്കു പരമേശ്വരനും അടങ്ങുന്ന മുഴുവന് ഭരണസമിതി അംഗങ്ങളും ഒന്നിച്ച് രാജിവയ്ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷകളോടെ വന്ന വനിതാ ഭരണസമിതിയാണ് ഇതോടെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞത്.
കുറ്റാരോപിതരുടെ കൈകളിലേക്ക് സംഘടനയെ തിരികെ എത്തിക്കാന് യോഗത്തില് ഗൂഢാലോചന നടന്നുവെന്ന് യോഗത്തില് നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോന്ന ശേഷം മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കവേ ശ്വേത പറഞ്ഞു.
തനിക്കും നേതൃത്വത്തിനുമെതിരെ ആസൂത്രിത നീക്കങ്ങളാണ് നടന്നത്. വെറുമൊരു കളിപ്പാവയായി സംഘടനയില് തുടരാനാവില്ലെന്ന് ശ്വേത പറഞ്ഞു.
പ്രാഥമികാംഗത്വത്തില് നിന്ന് കൂടി രാജിവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അമ്മയുമായുള്ള എല്ലാ ബന്ധവും അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. മുന്പ് കുറച്ച് സ്ത്രീകള് പറഞ്ഞത് പൂര്ണ്ണമായും ശരിയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ഇപ്പോള് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടു. കുറ്റാരോപിതരായ വ്യക്തികളുടെ കൈകളിലേക്ക് സംഘടനയെ തിരിച്ചേല്പ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ബോധപൂര്വ്വമായ ശ്രമങ്ങളാണ് അവിടെ നടന്നത്.

ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ യോഗം ആരംഭിച്ചതു മുതല് കലഹമായിരുന്നു. വാര്ഷിക റിപ്പോര്ട്ടും കണക്കും അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് എതിര് വിഭാഗം അനുവദിച്ചില്ല. പ്രതിസന്ധി പരിഹരിക്കാന് ശ്വേതാ മേനോന് 45 ദിവസത്തെ സമയം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയത്തിലേക്കു കാര്യങ്ങള് പോയി. ആ നാണക്കേട് ഒഴിവാക്കാന് ശ്വേതയും ജനറല് സെക്രട്ടറി കുക്കു പരമേശ്വരനും ഉള്പ്പെടുന്ന കമ്മിറ്റി കൂട്ടരാജി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

Calculated moves were executed against her and the leadership. Shwetha stated that she could not continue in the organization as a mere puppet.
"By resigning from even the primary membership, I am ending all my ties with AMMA. I now realize that what a few women said in the past was entirely true. Deliberate attempts were made there to deliver the organization back into the hands of accused individuals.
While registration was happening on one side of the venue, on the other side, people were being forcefully dragged away to collect signatures in favor of the no-confidence motion. Their plan was to throw us out according to a pre-written script. I have my own personality; I will speak my mind openly," Shwetha said.
"Our treasurer was a defector. He ran away around May 1st. When complaints reached the Labor Department and the police regarding the termination of AMMA staff, he went missing without uttering a word to the committee or even sending an email.
Consequently, we could not manage the accounts properly. Even so, the accounts of our committee from September 1st onward are accurate. Previously, during Baburaj's committee tenure, there were numerous discrepancies. We refrained from making things public solely to maintain the dignity of the organization. Today, I feel a sense of great relief. Because, from today onward, I am not a member of AMMA. Since I am no longer a member, I now have the full freedom to speak out about everything openly.
A massive conspiracy took place there. If you do not remain a mere puppet in AMMA, you cannot achieve anything there. I am not ready for that. I will clarify the remaining details later," Shwetha stated.
Rift and chaos prevailed from the very beginning of the meeting this morning. The opposing faction did not allow the annual report and accounts to be presented. Although Shwetha Menon requested a 45-day grace period to resolve the crisis, things escalated toward the no-confidence motion. To avoid that humiliation, the committee—including Shwetha and General Secretary Kukku Parameswaran—announced a mass resignation.
