ഗുരുവായൂര്‍: മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി ഡി സതീശന്‍ ഗുരുവായൂരിലെത്തി കണ്ണനെ തൊഴുതു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച ശേഷം വെണ്ണ കൊണ്ട് തുലാഭാര വഴിപാട് നടത്തി. കെ. കരുണാകരന് ശേഷം ഗുരുവായൂര്‍ ക്ഷേത്ര നടയില്‍ ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തുന്ന കേരള മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാണ് സതീശന്‍.

71 കിലോഗ്രാം വെണ്ണയാണ് തുലാഭാരത്തിനു വേണ്ടിവന്നത്. കിഴക്കേ നടയിലെ ഗണപതി കോവിലില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നാളികേരവും ഉടച്ചു. ജില്ലാ കളക്ടര്‍ ശിഖാ സുരേഖനും ദേവസ്വം അധികൃതരും ചേര്‍ന്നു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ദേവസ്വം ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ എ വി ഗോപിനാഥ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ പൊന്നാട അണിയിച്ചു.

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനകത്തും പുറത്തുമായി നൂറുകണക്കിനു പേരാണ് തടിച്ചുകൂടിയത്. ആര്‍പ്പുവിളിച്ചും കരഘോഷം മുഴക്കിയുമാണ് ജനം പുതിയ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ എതിരേറ്റത്. 

ഗുരുവായൂരിലെ ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് ശേഷം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നേരെ പോയത് തൃപ്രയാര്‍ ശ്രീരാമസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്കാണ്. രാവിലെ എട്ടരയോടെ തൃപ്രയാറിലെത്തിയ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ ദേവസ്വം കമ്മിഷണര്‍ എം. മനോജ്കുമാര്‍, ക്ഷേത്രം മാനേജര്‍ വി.എന്‍. ഹരിഹര ഭട്ട് എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണകുംഭം നല്‍കി സ്വീകരിച്ചു.

തൃപ്രയാറപ്പന്റെ നടയില്‍ കദളിക്കുല സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി, തന്റെയും സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെയും ഐശ്വര്യത്തിനായി വഴിപാടുകള്‍ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ നടത്തി. തൃപ്രയാറിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ മീനൂട്ട് വഴിപാട് അദ്ദേഹം നേരിട്ട് നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ചു. ഇതിന് പുറമേ ഭഗവാന് 101 വെടിവഴിപാടും വെള്ളിക്കുടത്തില്‍ നെയ്യ് സമര്‍പ്പണം തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രധാന വഴിപാടുകളും കഴിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് അദ്ദേഹം തൃപ്രയാര്‍ ക്ഷേത്ര നടയില്‍ നിന്നും മടങ്ങിയത്.

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി.ഡി. സതീശന്റെ ദീര്‍ഘായുസ്സിനും ഭരണവിജയത്തിനുമായി അനുയായികള്‍ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രത്യേക പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനകള്‍ നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. ചെന്ത്രാപ്പിന്നി കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് മണ്ഡലം വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഷജില്‍, വി.ഡി. സതീശന്റെ പേരില്‍ തൃപ്രയാര്‍ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ ശയനപ്രദക്ഷിണം നടത്തി. പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെയും സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെയും അമരക്കാരനായി സതീശന്‍ തിളങ്ങാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാണ് താന്‍ ഈ കഠിന വ്രതം നോറ്റതെന്ന് ഷജില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

റവന്യൂ മന്ത്രി എ.പി. അനില്‍കുമാറിന്റെ മകന്റെ കല്യാണച്ചടങ്ങിലും അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കെടുത്തു. വിവാഹ വേദിയിലും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കൊപ്പം സെല്‍ഫി എടുക്കാനും മറ്റും വലിയ തിരക്കായിരുന്നു.

റവന്യൂ മന്ത്രി എ.പി. അനില്‍കുമാറിന്റെ മകന്റെ കല്യാണച്ചടങ്ങിലും അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കെടുത്തു. വിവാഹ വേദിയിലും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കൊപ്പം സെല്‍ഫി എടുക്കാനും മറ്റും വലിയ തിരക്കായിരുന്നു.

എപി അനില്‍കുമാറിന്റെയും പ്രസീജയുടെയും മകന്‍ ഡോ അര്‍ജുനും മലപ്പുറം കാളികാവ് തൊട്ടാപ്പശേരി മുരളീധരന്റെയും മിനിയുടെയും മകള്‍ ഡോ. നിരോഷയുമാണ് ഗുരുവായൂര്‍ ക്ഷേത്ര നടയില്‍ വിവാഹിതരായത്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കു പുറമെ കെ സി വേണുഗോപാല്‍, പിസി വിഷ്ണുനാഥ്, രമേശ് പിഷാരടി, എം ലിജു തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഗുരുവായൂരിലെ ഗോകുലം കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ സെന്ററിലാണ്  സല്‍ക്കാരം ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നത്. 

Summary:  Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan visited the Guruvayur Temple, offered prayers to Lord Krishna, and performed the Thulabharam ritual (offering items equal to one's body weight) using butter. Satheesan is the first Chief Minister of Kerala to visit the Guruvayur Temple since the tenure of K. Karunakaran.

A total of 71 kilograms of butter was used for the Thulabharam. The Chief Minister also broke a coconut at the Ganapathi Temple located at the eastern entrance. District Collector Shikha Surendran and Devaswom officials received the Chief Minister. Devaswom Chairman A.V. Gopinath honored the Chief Minister by draping him with a Ponnada (ceremonial shawl).

Hundreds of people gathered inside and outside the temple to welcome the Chief Minister. The crowd greeted the new Chief Minister with cheers and applause.

Following his visit to Guruvayur, the Chief Minister headed straight to the Triprayar Sri Ramaswamy Temple. Arriving at Triprayar around 8:30 AM, he was given a traditional Poornakumbham welcome under the leadership of Devaswom Commissioner M. Manoj Kumar and Temple Manager V.N. Harihara Bhatt.

After offering a bunch of Kadali bananas at the Triprayar deity's shrine, the Chief Minister made several offerings for his own well-being and the prosperity of the government. He personally performed the famous Meenootto (feeding the fish) ritual at Triprayar. In addition to this, he departed the Triprayar temple premises after offering 101 Vedi Vazhipadu (firecracker offerings) and a Neyyu Samarpanam (ghee offering) in a silver pot.

Supporters also held special prayers at the temples for the longevity and administrative success of Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan. Chentrappinni Congress Mandalam Vice President Shajil performed a Shayanapradakshinam (prostration by rolling on the ground) at the Triprayar temple in V.D. Satheesan's name. Shajil stated that he undertook this rigorous penance so that Satheesan could excel as the leader of both the party and the government.

The Chief Minister also attended the wedding ceremony of Revenue Minister A.P. Anil Kumar's son. There was a huge rush at the wedding venue as well, with people eager to take selfies with the Chief Minister.
