കൊച്ചി : മോഡലിങിനെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് യുവതികളെ ദുബായിലെത്തിച്ചു വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിലേക്കു തള്ളിവിടുന്ന ശൃംഖലയിലെ പ്രധാന കണ്ണിയാണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായ ബിലാല്‍ എന്ന ശ്രീകുമാറെന്നു പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

കേസില്‍ പ്രധാന പ്രതികളായ സ്റ്റോയ്‌സി (സിന്ധു), അലീന ഏബ്രഹാം, മഞ്ജിമ എന്നിവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പമാണ് ചാരുംമൂട് സ്വദേശിയായ ബിലാല്‍ (എസ്. ശ്രീകുമാര്‍) എന്നയാളെയും പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.

ഈ തട്ടിപ്പ് സംഘത്തിലേക്ക് സിന്ധുവിനെ എത്തിച്ചത് ബിലാല്‍ ആണെന്നാണ് വിവരം. ഇരകളാക്കപ്പെട്ട യുവതികള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ഇയാള്‍ 'ബിലാലിക്ക' എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. മഞ്ജിമ, ഷംല എന്നിവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം യുവതികളെ ദുബായിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതില്‍ ഇയാള്‍ക്ക് വലിയ പങ്കുണ്ട്. കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കിയ ഇയാളെ റിമാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മഞ്ജിമ, അലീന എന്നിവരാണ് ദുബായിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകാന്‍ സാധിക്കുന്ന യുവതികളെയും മോഡലുകളെയും കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. ഒന്നാം പ്രതിയായ സിന്ധുവിന്റെ 'എലീസ ഇവന്റ്‌സ്' എന്ന കമ്പനിയുടെ പേരിലുള്ള സന്ദര്‍ശക വിസയിലാണ് യുവതികളെ ദുബായിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നത്. ബിലാലും സിന്ധുവും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് ഇവരെ വിദേശത്ത് എത്തിക്കുന്നതും അവിടെയുള്ള സെക്‌സ് റാക്കറ്റിന് കൈമാറുന്നതും. 

ബിലാല്‍ എന്ന ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ ദീര്‍ഘകാലമായി ഈ രംഗത്ത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ആളാണ്. പെണ്‍വാണിഭ സംഘത്തിലേക്ക് ഒന്നാം പ്രതിയായ സിന്ധുവിനെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതും കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതും ബിലാലാണ്. സംഘത്തില്‍ ഇയാള്‍ 'ബിലാലിക്ക' എന്ന പേരിലാണ് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്.  ഇയാളുടെ ഫോണ്‍ പരിശോധിച്ചതില്‍ നിന്ന് നിരവധി യുവതികളുടെ വിവിധ പോസുകളിലുള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങളും വാട്‌സ്ആപ്പ്, ടെലഗ്രാം ചാറ്റുകളും പോലീസിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ പല ടെലഗ്രാം ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളിലും ഇയാള്‍ പങ്കുവെച്ചിരുന്നതായും കണ്ടെത്തി.

യുവതികളെ കണ്ടെത്തി ദുബായിലേക്ക് കടത്തുന്നതിനായി സിന്ധുവിനും ബിലാലിനും ഓരോ യുവതിക്കും 50,000 രൂപ മുതല്‍ ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ വരെ കമ്മിഷനായി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു എന്ന് കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി പൊലീസ് കമ്മിഷണര്‍ കാളിരാജ് മഹേഷ് കുമാര്‍ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.  

ഈ റാക്കറ്റിലൂടെ വിദേശത്തേക്ക് കടത്തപ്പെട്ട ചില യുവതികള്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടാകാം എന്ന കടുത്ത സംശയവും ഇരകള്‍ പൊലീസിനോട് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ അതിജീവിതമാരെ കാരിയര്‍മാരാക്കി സ്വര്‍ണ്ണക്കടത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നോ എന്നും പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

ബിലാലിന്റെ ഫോണ്‍ പരിശോധിച്ചതില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒട്ടേറെ യുവതികളുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുകയും, ഇവ പല ടെലിഗ്രാം ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളിലും വിപണനത്തിനായി പങ്കുവച്ചതായും പൊലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തി. കൂടാതെ, യുവതികളുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ കാണിച്ച് സിന്ധുവും സംഘവും ഇടപാടുകാരുമായി വിലപേശുന്ന ഓഡിയോ സന്ദേശങ്ങളും പൊലീസിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാഗ്രാം അടക്കമുള്ള സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ വഴി ദുബായില്‍ ഫാഷന്‍ ഷോ, മോഡലിങ് അവസരങ്ങള്‍, ബ്യൂട്ടി പാര്‍ലര്‍ ജോലികള്‍ എന്നിവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്താണ് സാധാരണക്കാരായ യുവതികളെ ഇവര്‍ ആകര്‍ഷിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ദുബായില്‍ എത്തിച്ച ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ യുവതികളുടെ ഫോണും പാസ്‌പോര്‍ട്ടും സിന്ധുവിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ വാങ്ങി വയ്ക്കും. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ബര്‍ദുബായിലെ അപ്പാര്‍ട്ടുമെന്റുകളില്‍ ഇവരെ പൂട്ടിയിടുകയായിരുന്നു.  

കോളയിലും മറ്റും വെളുത്ത പൊടി (ലഹരിമരുന്ന്) കലര്‍ത്തി നല്‍കി ബോധരഹിതരാക്കിയ ശേഷം ഇവരെ ക്രൂരമായ കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയിരുന്നു. പീഡന ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും നഗ്‌നചിത്രങ്ങളും പകര്‍ത്തുകയും, പൊലീസില്‍ പരാതിപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ ഇവ നാട്ടിലെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ക്ക് അയച്ചുകൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. ചില യുവതികളുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുത്താനായി വീട്ടിലേക്ക് അയച്ചു കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. കൊച്ചിയിലെ ക്രിമിനല്‍-ഗുണ്ടാ സംഘങ്ങളുടെ പേര് പറഞ്ഞായിരുന്നു ഇവരുടെ ഭീഷണി. 

2026 ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ പരാതിക്കാരിയായ യുവതിയെ ദുബായിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയത് ബിലാല്‍, ഷംല, മഞ്ജിമ എന്നിവര്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു.  ക്രൂരമായ ബ്ലാക്ക്‌മെയിലിങ്ദുബായില്‍ എത്തിക്കുന്ന യുവതികളെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയും ബ്ലാക്ക്‌മെയില്‍ ചെയ്തുമാണ് ലൈംഗിക തൊഴിലിന് നിര്‍ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്നത്.  ഇരയാക്കപ്പെട്ട യുവതിയുടെ പീഡന ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ സംഘം മൊബൈലില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഈ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ യുവതിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവിനടക്കം അയച്ചുകൊടുത്ത് ക്രൂരമായ ബ്ലാക്ക്‌മെയിലിങ് നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. 

ഏപ്രിലില്‍ വിസിറ്റിങ് വിസയുടെ കാലാവധി കഴിഞ്ഞതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നാട്ടില്‍ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ യുവതി നല്‍കിയ പരാതിയിലാണ് കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി ഈ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര റാക്കറ്റിനെ പൂട്ടിയത്. പ്രതികളുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാടുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും കൂടുതല്‍ യുവതികള്‍ ഇതില്‍ പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ഊര്‍ജിതമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

കേസിന്റെ ഗൗരവം പരിഗണിച്ച് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കമ്മിഷണര്‍ അശ്വതി ജിജിയുടെ മേല്‍നോട്ടത്തില്‍ പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം രൂപീകരിച്ചു. ദുബായില്‍ ഒളിവില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന കേസിലെ രണ്ടാം പ്രതി ഷംല, അഞ്ചാം പ്രതി റഹ്മത്ത് എന്നിവരെ ദുബായ് പൊലീസിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ നാട്ടിലെത്തിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ ഊര്‍ജ്ജിതമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Summary: The police stated that Bilal (alias Sreekumar), who was recently arrested, is a key link in the international network that traffics young women to Dubai for prostitution under the pretext of modelling opportunities.

The police arrested Bilal (S. Sreekumar), a native of Charummoodu, along with the other main accused in the case: Stoyci (Sindhu), Aleena Abraham, and Manjima.

According to reports, it was Bilal who introduced Sindhu into this fraud syndicate. Among the victims, he was widely known as 'Bilalikka'. He played a major role alongside Manjima and Shamla in trafficking women to Dubai. He has been produced before the court and remanded to custody.

The Modus Operandi

Manjima and Aleena were responsible for scouting young women and aspiring models who could be taken to Dubai. The victims were then transported to Dubai on visitor visas issued under the name of 'Eliza Events', a company owned by the first accused, Sindhu. Bilal and Sindhu worked together to transport these women abroad and hand them over to the sex racket operating there.

Kochi City Police Commissioner Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar confirmed that Sindhu and Bilal received a commission ranging from ?50,000 to ?1,00,000 per woman for finding and trafficking them to Dubai.

Shocking Revelations and Suspicions of Murder

Victims have expressed grave suspicions to the police that some of the women trafficked abroad through this racket may have been murdered. Furthermore, the police are actively investigating whether the survivors were also used as carriers for gold smuggling.

Upon inspecting Bilal’s phone, the police discovered photographs of numerous young women in various poses. It was found that he had shared these images across several Telegram groups for commercial exploitation. Additionally, the police recovered audio clips showing Sindhu and her accomplices using these photos to bargain prices with clients.

Entrapment and Brutal Torture

The syndicate targeted ordinary women by advertising fashion shows, modelling opportunities, and beauty parlour jobs in Dubai via social media platforms like Instagram.

As soon as the women arrived in Dubai, Sindhu and her team would confiscate their phones and passports. They were then locked up in apartments located in Bur Dubai.

Modus Operandi of Abuse: The victims were mixed with a white powder (drugs) in soft drinks to render them unconscious, after which they were subjected to brutal gang rapes. Their assault and nude photos were recorded. The gang threatened to send these clips to their families back home if they approached the police. To terrorize them, images of some victims were actually sent to their homes. The gang also used the names of notorious criminal gangs in Kochi to intimidate them.

The Investigation

In February 2026, the victim who filed the complaint was taken to Dubai by Bilal, Shamla, and Manjima. She was subjected to horrific blackmailing, and her assault videos were even sent to her husband. The international racket was busted after the victim managed to return home in April following the expiry of her visitor visa and lodged a complaint with the Kochi City Police.

Considering the gravity of the case, a special investigation team has been formed under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ashwathi Jiji. Efforts are underway with the assistance of the Dubai Police to extradite the second accused, Shamla, and the fifth accused, Rahmath, who are currently hiding in Dubai.
