നിലവിലെ ചാമ്പ്യന്മാരായ റോയല് ചലഞ്ചേഴ്സ് ബെംഗളൂരു ടോസ് നേടി ബൗളിംഗ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ആദ്യം ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്ത ഗുജറാത്ത് ടൈറ്റന്സിന് നിശ്ചിത 20 ഓവറില് 8 വിക്കറ്റ് നഷ്ടത്തില് 155 റണ്സ് മാത്രമേ നേടാനായുള്ളൂ.
