ചെന്നൈ: തമിഴ്നാട് നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തുവന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഭരണകക്ഷിയായ ഡി.എം.കെ, നടന്‍ വിജയ്യുടെ ടി.വി.കെക്കും എ.ഐ.എ.ഡി.എം.കെ സഖ്യത്തിനും പിന്നിലായതില്‍ രോഷാകുലരായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ചെന്നൈയിലെ പാര്‍ട്ടി ഓഫീസിലെ ബാനറുകളും കൊടിമരങ്ങളും പിഴുതെറിഞ്ഞു.

എം.കെ. സ്റ്റാലിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ പോസ്റ്ററുകള്‍ പതിച്ച മരത്തടികള്‍ നിലത്തു വീണുകിടക്കുന്ന നിലയിലായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍, അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗം ഡി.എം.കെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ഈ ബാനറുകളും തൂണുകളും തിരികെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

'ഞങ്ങള്‍ അസ്വസ്ഥരായിരുന്നു. മാറ്റിയ സാധനങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞങ്ങള്‍ തന്നെ തിരികെ സ്ഥാപിക്കും,' ഒരു ഡി.എം.കെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

പല പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും കാമറകള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ പൊട്ടിക്കരഞ്ഞു. നടന്‍ വിജയ് നയിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ പാര്‍ട്ടി ഇത്രയും സീറ്റുകള്‍ നേടിയെന്നത് വിശ്വസിക്കാനാവുന്നില്ലെന്ന് അവര്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.

ഇതുവരെയുള്ള ഫലങ്ങള്‍ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ടി.വി.കെ 96-ലധികം സീറ്റുകളിലും, എ.ഐ.എ.ഡി.എം.കെ 71 സീറ്റുകളിലും, ഡി.എം.കെ 58 സീറ്റുകളിലുമാണ് മുന്നിട്ടുനില്‍ക്കുന്നത്.

തന്റെ ആദ്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ മത്സരിച്ച തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളി ഈസ്റ്റ്, പെരമ്പൂര്‍ എന്നീ രണ്ട് മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിലും വിജയ് മുന്നിലാണ്. വിജയ്യുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവേശനത്തോടെ തമിഴ്നാട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഒരു ത്രികോണ മത്സരമായി മാറിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഒരു വശത്ത് എ.ഐ.എ.ഡി.എം.കെ - ബി.ജെ.പി സഖ്യവും മറുവശത്ത് ഡി.എം.കെ സഖ്യവുമാണ് പൊരുതുന്നത്.

വിജയ്യുടെ ടി.വി.കെ-യുടെ ഈ വന്‍ മുന്നേറ്റം, എ.ഐ.എ.ഡി.എം.കെ-യുമായി പാര്‍ട്ടി സഖ്യമുണ്ടാക്കിയേക്കുമെന്ന പഴയ അഭ്യൂഹങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വീണ്ടും ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Wooden poles bearing posters of the M.K. Stalin-led party were seen strewn across the ground. However, another group of DMK supporters at the venue stated they would re-erect the banners and poles.

"We were upset. We will put back everything we removed," a DMK worker said.

Many supporters broke down in tears in front of the cameras. They expressed disbelief that the new party led by actor Vijay managed to secure so many seats.

The results so far indicate that TVK is leading in over 96 seats, followed by the AIADMK with 71, and the DMK with 58.

Vijay is leading in both constituencies where he contested his debut election—Tiruchirappalli East and Perambur. With Vijay's entry into the political arena, the Tamil Nadu elections have turned into a triangular contest, with the AIADMK-BJP alliance on one side and the DMK-led alliance on the other.

The massive surge of Vijay’s TVK has also breathed new life into old rumors regarding a potential alliance with the AIADMK.
