UDF Predicts Victory in 80 Seats; At Least Seven Ministers Expected to Lose

തിരുവനന്തപുരം : നിയമ സഊാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില് 80 സീറ്റിനു മുകളില് നേടി വിജയം ഭരണം പിടിക്കുമെന്ന് യുഡിഎഫ് വിലയിരുത്തല്. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനു ശേഷം ബൂത്തു തലത്തില് ശേഖരിച്ച കണക്കുകള് ക്രോഡീകരിച്ചാണ് മുന്നണി ഈ നിഗമനത്തില് എത്തിയിരിക്കുമെന്ന്. 90 സീറ്റില് വിജയിക്കുമെന്ന് ഇടതു മുന്നണിയും പ്രവചിച്ചിരുന്നു.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ പല മന്ത്രിമാരും തോല്ക്കുമെന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫ് വിലയിരുത്തല്. മന്ത്രിമാരായ വി ശിവന് കുട്ടി, വീണാ ജോര്ജ്, വിഎന് വാസവന്, എംബി രാജേഷ്, റോഷി അഗസ്റ്റിന്, ഒ ആര് കേളു, കടന്നപ്പള്ളി രാമചന്ദ്രന് തുടങ്ങിയവരൊക്കെ തോല്ക്കുമെന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫ് വിലയിരുത്തല്.
തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സിറ്റിംഗ് സീറ്റായ കോവളം നിലനിര്ത്തും. തിരുവനന്തപുരം സെന്ട്രല്-സിപി ജോണ്, വട്ടിയൂര്ക്കാവ്- കെ മുരളീധരന്, നെയ്യാറ്റിന്കര-എന് ശക്തന്, അരുവിക്കര-വിഎസ് ശിവകുമാര് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് വിജയം ഉറപ്പെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകൂട്ടല്. കാട്ടാക്കടയില് എം ആര് ബൈജു ചെറിയ ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തിന് ജയിക്കും. നേമത്തുംകഴക്കൂട്ടത്തും നേരിയ വോട്ടിന് മുന്നിലെത്താമെന്ന് സ്ഥാനാര്ത്ഥികളായ ശബരീനാഥനും ശരത്ചന്ദ്രപ്രസാദും കരുതുന്നു.
കൊല്ലം: കുണ്ടറയില് പിസി വിഷ്ണുനാഥും കരുനാഗപ്പള്ളിയില് സി ആര് മഹേഷും ജയിക്കുമെന്ന് മുന്നണി ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ബിന്ദു കൃഷ്ണയിലൂടെ കൊല്ലം സീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുമെന്നാണ് ഉറപ്പു പറയുന്നത്. ആര്എസ്പി മത്സരിക്കുന്ന ചവറയിലും കുന്നത്തൂരിലും ജയിക്കും. ചവറയില് ഷിബു ബേബി ജോണാണ് സ്ഥാനാര്ത്ഥി. ഉല്ലാസ് കോവൂരാണ് കുന്നത്തൂരിലെ സ്ഥാനാര്ത്ഥി. മന്ത്രി കെ ബി ഗണേശ് കുമാര് വീണ്ടും ജനവിധി തേടുന്ന പത്തനാപുരത്തും മന്ത്രി ബാലഗോപാല് മത്സരിക്കുന്ന കൊട്ടാരക്കരയിലും ശക്തമായ മത്സരം കാഴ്ചവയ്ക്കാനായെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലാണ് മുന്നണി.
പത്തനംതിട്ട: കോന്നി ഒഴികെ എല്ലാ സീറ്റിലും യുഡിഎഫ് വിജയം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. ആറന്മുളയില് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോര്ജിനെ അബിന് വര്ക്കിക്കു തോല്പ്പിക്കാന് കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് മുന്നണി ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
ആലപ്പുഴ: ഹരിപ്പാട് സീറ്റില് രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല അനായാസം ജയിക്കും. അമ്പലപ്പുഴയില് ഇടതു വിമതനായി വന്ന മുന് മന്ത്രി ജി സുധാകരന് വിജയിക്കും. അരൂരിലും കുട്ടനാട്ടിലും ഉറച്ച പ്രതീക്ഷ. ഇടതുവിമതന് ജി. സുധാകരന് അമ്പലപ്പുഴയില് അട്ടിമറി വിജയം നേടുമെന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. കായംകുളത്ത് ശക്തമായ മത്സരം.
കോട്ടയം: പുതുപ്പള്ളി, കോട്ടയം, കടുത്തുരുത്തി, പൂഞ്ഞാര്, ചങ്ങനാശേരി എന്നീ സീറ്റുകള് മികച്ച ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തില് ജയിക്കുമെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകൂട്ടുന്നത്. പാലായില് ഇക്കുറിയും ജോസ് കെ മാണിക്കു സാധ്യതയില്ല. മാണി സി. കാപ്പന് മുന്തൂക്കമെന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫ് വിലയിരുത്തല്. ഏറ്റുമാനൂരില് മന്ത്രി വിഎന് വാസവനെ നാട്ടകം സുരേഷ് അട്ടിമറിക്കുമെന്നാണ് മുന്നണിയുടെ കണക്കുകൂട്ടല്.
ഇടുക്കി: മന്ത്രി റോഷി അഗസ്റ്റിനെ റോയ് കെ പൗലോസ് അട്ടിമറിക്കുമെന്നു യുഡിഎഫ് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. പരാജയപ്പെടുമെന്ന് ഉറച്ച പ്രതീക്ഷ. തൊടുപുഴയില് അപു ജോസഫ് വിജയിക്കും. പീരുമേട് നിലനിര്ത്തും. ഉടുമ്പന്ചോലയില് യുഡിഎഫിന് മുന്തൂക്കം. സിപിഎം വിട്ട് ബിജെപിയിലെത്തിയ എസ്. രാജേന്ദ്രന് ദേവികുളത്ത് കൂടുതല് വോട്ടു പിടിക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ. അങ്ങനെ വന്നാല് വിജയിക്കാനാവുമെന്ന് യുഡിഎഫ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
എറണാകുളം: കളമശേരിയില് മന്ത്രി പി രാജീവ് തന്നെ വിജയിക്കുമെന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫും കണക്കുകൂട്ടുന്നത്. ഇതൊഴികെ 13 സീറ്റിലും മുന്നണി വന് വിജയം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. വൈപ്പിന്, കൊച്ചി, തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ, കോതമംഗലം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് കടുത്ത മത്സരമാണ് നടന്നത്. എങ്കിലും വിജയം ഉറപ്പാണ്.
തൃശൂര്: ചാലക്കുടി, തൃശൂര്, മണലൂര് സീറ്റുകളില് വിജയം ഉറപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള് അനുകൂല തരംഗമുണ്ടായാല് വടക്കാഞ്ചേരി, കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂര്, ഗുരുവായൂര്, ഇരിങ്ങാലക്കുട, ഒല്ലൂര് സീറ്റുകളും പിടിക്കാമെന്ന് കരുതുന്നു.
പാലക്കാട്: പാലക്കാട് രമേശ് പിഷാരടി ജയിക്കുമെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തല്. മണ്ണാര്ക്കാടും നിലനിര്ത്തും. തൃത്താലയില് മന്ത്രി എം.ബി. രാജേഷിനെ വി ടി ബല്റാം തോല്പ്പിക്കും. ചിറ്റൂരില് സുമേഷ് അച്ചുതന് ഉറച്ച പ്രതീക്ഷ. കോങ്ങാട്, പട്ടാമ്പി, നെന്മാറ, ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് തരംഗമുണ്ടായാല് ജയിക്കാം.
മലപ്പുറം: ജില്ലയില് യുഡിഎഫ് തൂത്തുവാരുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷ. പൊന്നാനിയിലും നൗഷാദ് അലിയും തവനൂരില് കെടി ജലീലിനെതിരേ വിഎസ് ജോയിയും ശക്തമായ മത്സരം കാഴ്ചവച്ചുവെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തല്.
കോഴിക്കോട്: കുറ്റ്യാടി, കൊയിലാണ്ടി, നാദാപുരം, കൊടുവള്ളി, കോഴിക്കോട് സൗത്ത്, വടകര എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് ഉറച്ച പ്രതീക്ഷ. തിരുവമ്പാടിയില് സി കെ കാസിമിന് നേരിയ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം. ബേപ്പൂരില് മന്ത്രി മുഹമ്മദ് റിയാസിനെ പിവി അന്വര് അട്ടിമറിച്ചേക്കുമെന്നു നേരിയ പ്രതീക്ഷയുണ്ട്. നോര്ത്ത്, പേരാമ്പ്ര, കുന്നമംഗലം എന്നിവയും പിടിച്ചെടുക്കാമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ.
വയനാട്: മാനന്തവാടിയില് മന്ത്രി ഒ.ആര്. കേളുവിനെ എം എ ഉഷ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. ജില്ലയിലെ മൂന്നു സീറ്റും പിടിക്കാനാവുമെന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫ് കണക്കുകൂട്ടല്.
കണ്ണൂര്: പേരാവൂരില് കെ പി സി സി അദ്ധ്യക്ഷന് സണ്ണി ജോസഫിനെതിരേ വെല്ലുവിളി ഉയര്ത്താന് കെ കെ ഷൈലജയ്ക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തല്. ഇരിക്കൂറും നിലനിര്ത്തും. കണ്ണൂര് സീറ്റില് മന്ത്രി കടന്നപ്പള്ളി രാമചന്ദ്രനെ ടി ഒ മോഹനന് അട്ടിമറിക്കും. അഴീക്കോടും കൂത്തുപറമ്പിലും ശക്തമായ മത്സരം കാഴ്ചവയ്ക്കാനായി. പയ്യന്നൂരിലും തളിപ്പറമ്പിലും വോട്ട് വിഹിതം ഉയര്ത്തും.
കാസര്കോട്: ബിജെപി നേതാവ് കെ സുരേന്ദ്രന് മത്സരിക്കുന്ന മഞ്ചേശ്വരത്ത് യുഡിഎഫിന്റെ എ കെ എം അഷ്റഫ് തന്നെ ജയിക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ. സന്ദീപ് വാര്യര് തൃക്കരിപ്പൂരില് വിജയിക്കുമെന്നു മുന്നണി കണക്കുകൂട്ടുന്നു. കാസര്കോട്ടും ഉറച്ച വിജയം. ഉദുമയില് ശക്തമായ മത്സരം.

Thiruvananthapuram:
The front is confident of retaining the sitting seat of Kovalam. Victories are considered certain in Thiruvananthapuram Central (C.P. John), Vattiyoorkavu (K. Muraleedharan), Neyyattinkara (N. Sakthan), and Aruvikkara (V.S. Sivakumar). In Kattakada, M.R. Baiju is expected to win by a small margin. Candidates Sabarinathan (Nemom) and Sarath Chandra Prasad (Kazhakoottam) believe they can pull ahead with slim leads.
Kollam:
The front is sure of victories for P.C. Vishnunath in Kundara and C.R. Mahesh in Karunagappally. They claim the Kollam seat will be captured through Bindu Krishna. Wins are also expected in Chavara (Shibu Baby John) and Kunnathur (Ullas Kovoor), where the RSP is contesting. The front hopes to have put up a strong fight in Pathanapuram, where Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar is seeking re-election, and Kottarakkara, where Minister Balagopal is contesting.
Pathanamthitta:
UDF expects victory in all seats except Konni. The front is certain that Abin Varkey can defeat Minister Veena George in Aranmula.
Alappuzha:
Ramesh Chennithala is expected to win easily in Haripad. Former minister G. Sudhakaran, who contested as a Left rebel, is predicted to win in Ambalappuzha. High hopes are maintained for Aroor and Kuttanad. A tough contest is noted in Kayamkulam.
Kottayam:
Substantial majorities are expected in Puthuppally, Kottayam, Kaduthuruthy, Poonjar, and Changanassery. The UDF evaluates that Jose K. Mani has no chance in Pala this time either, with Mani C. Kappan holding the edge. They also calculate that Natakam Suresh will upset Minister V.N. Vasavan in Ettumanoor.
Idukki:

Thrissur:
While victories are assured in Chalakudy, Thrissur, and Manalur, the front believes that a favorable wave could also bring Wadakkanchery, Kodungallur, Guruvayur, Irinjalakuda, and Ollur into their fold.
Palakkad:
Ramesh Pisharody is assessed to win in Palakkad, and Mannarkkad will be retained. In Thrithala, V.T. Balram is expected to defeat Minister M.B. Rajesh. Sumesh Achuthan has high hopes for Chittur. Victories in Kongad, Pattambi, Nenmara, and Ottapalam are contingent on a favorable wave.
Malappuram:
The UDF expects a clean sweep in the district. They assess that Naushad Ali in Ponnani and V.S. Joy against K.T. Jaleel in Thavanur have put up a very strong fight.
Kozhikode:
Firm hopes are held for Kuttyadi, Koyilandy, Nadapuram, Koduvally, Kozhikode South, and Vatakara. C.K. Kasim is expected to have a slight lead in Thiruvambady. There is a slight hope that P.V. Anvar might upset Minister Mohamed Riyas in Beypore. North, Perambra, and Kunnamangalam are also viewed as potential gains.
Wayanad:
The UDF believes M.A. Usha will defeat Minister O.R. Kelu in Mananthavady. The front calculates it can win all three seats in the district.
Kannur:
The assessment is that K.K. Shailaja failed to pose a significant challenge to KPCC President Sunny Joseph in Peravoor. Irikkur will be retained. T.O. Mohanan is expected to unseat Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran in Kannur. Strong fights were put up in Azhikode and Kuthuparamba, while vote shares are expected to rise in Payyannur and Taliparamba.
Kasaragod:
In Manjeshwar, where BJP leader K. Surendran is contesting, UDF’s A.K.M. Ashraf is expected to win. The front also calculates that Sandeep Varier will win in Thrikaripur. A solid victory is expected in Kasaragod, with a strong contest noted in Uduma.
