CM’s Son Visits Guruvayur: Social Media Abuzz, Opposition Claims Prayer for Term Extension
ഗുരുവായൂര് : തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലം വരാനിരിക്കെ, മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ മകന് വിവേക് കിരണ് ഗുരുവായൂര് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് ദര്ശനം നടത്തിയത് പാര്ട്ടിക്കുള്ളിലും വലിയ ചര്ച്ചയായി മാറുന്നു.
വ്യക്തി സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമാണ് ഇക്കാര്യത്തില് പ്രധാനമെന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗം വാദിക്കുമ്പോള് മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗം പാര്ട്ടി അനുകൂലികള് ഇതിനോട് യോജിക്കുന്നില്ല. സൈബര് ഇടത്തില് ഇതു വലിയ ചര്ച്ചയ്ക്കാണ് വഴിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഫലപ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന് തൊട്ടുമുന്പുള്ള ഈ ദര്ശനം 'തുടര്ഭരണത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പ്രാര്ത്ഥന' ആണെന്ന തരത്തില് സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയയില് ട്രോളുകളും രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചര്ച്ചകളും സജീവമാണ്.
തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ടാണ് വിവേക് കിരണും കുടുംബവും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്തിയത്. ഏകദേശം അരമണിക്കൂറോളം അവര് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് ചെലവഴിച്ചു. വിവേക് കിരണ് സര്ക്കാര് പദവികള് ഒന്നും വഹിക്കാത്ത വ്യക്തിയാണെങ്കിലും, ദേവസ്വം അഡ്മിനിസ്ട്രേറ്റര് ഒ.ബി. അരുണ്കുമാര് നേരിട്ടെത്തി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചത് ചട്ടലംഘനമാണെന്ന ആരോപണം ഉയര്ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. സാധാരണ നിലയില് വി.ഐ.പി. പട്ടികയില് ഇല്ലാത്തവര്ക്ക് ഇത്തരം ഔദ്യോഗിക സ്വീകരണങ്ങള് നല്കാറില്ല.
സന്ദര്ശനം അതീവ രഹസ്യമായാണ് പ്ലാന് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. പോലീസിന്റെയോ ദേവസ്വത്തിന്റെയോ ഔദ്യോഗിക അറിയിപ്പുകള് ഒന്നും തന്നെ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്ക്ക് നല്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.
ദര്ശനം കഴിഞ്ഞ് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ വിവേക് കിരണിന്റെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള് മൊബൈലില് പകര്ത്താന് ശ്രമിച്ച പ്രാദേശിക മാധ്യമപ്രവര്ത്തകരെ ദേവസ്വം സെക്യൂരിറ്റി വിഭാഗം തടഞ്ഞു. മാധ്യമപ്രവര്ത്തകരുടെ ഫോണുകള് പിടിച്ചുവാങ്ങുകയും പകര്ത്തിയ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള് നിര്ബന്ധപൂര്വ്വം ഡിലീറ്റ് ചെയ്യിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതായി റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുകളുണ്ട്.
എന്നാല്, വിവേക് കിരണിന്റെ സ്വകാര്യത സംരക്ഷിക്കാനാണ് ശ്രമിച്ചതെന്നും സുരക്ഷാ കാരണങ്ങളാലാണ് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തിയതെന്നുമാണ് ദേവസ്വം അധികൃതരുടെ വാദം.
വിവേക് കിരണിന്റെ സന്ദര്ശനം തികച്ചും വ്യക്തിപരമായിരുന്നുവെന്നും ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് എത്തുന്ന ഭക്തര്ക്ക് നല്കുന്ന പരിഗണന മാത്രമാണ് നല്കിയതെന്നുമാണ് ദേവസ്വം അധികൃതര് നല്കുന്ന ഔദ്യോഗിക വിശദീകരണം. മാധ്യമപ്രവര്ത്തകരോട് മോശമായി പെരുമാറി എന്ന പരാതിയില് അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുമെന്നും അവര് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Although Vivek Kiran holds no official government position, allegations of protocol violation have surfaced regarding Devaswom Administrator O.B. Arunkumar personally receiving him. Normally, such official receptions are not accorded to those not on the VIP list.
The visit was planned in extreme secrecy. No official information was provided to the media by either the police or the Devaswom.
There are reports that Devaswom security personnel blocked local journalists who attempted to capture footage of Vivek Kiran on their mobiles as he exited after the darshan. It is alleged that the journalists' phones were seized and the recorded footage was forcibly deleted.
However, the Devaswom authorities maintain that they were only trying to protect Vivek Kiran’s privacy and that restrictions were imposed due to security reasons.
The official explanation from the Devaswom authorities is that Vivek Kiran's visit was strictly personal and he was only given the consideration usually extended to devotees visiting the temple. They also stated that an investigation would be conducted into the complaints regarding the mistreatment of journalists.
