ടെഹ്‌റാന്‍ : ഇറാന്‍ സായുധ സേനയുടെ ഭാഗമായ ഇസ്ലാമിക് റെവല്യൂഷണറി ഗാര്‍ഡ് കോറിന്റെ (ഐ.ആര്‍.ജി.സി) പുതിയ കമാന്‍ഡര്‍ ഇന്‍ ചീഫായി മുന്‍ പ്രതിരോധ മന്ത്രിയും മുന്‍ ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രിയുമായ മുതിര്‍ന്ന സൈനിക ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്‍ അഹമ്മദ് വാഹിദിയാണ് മിലിഷ്യയുടെ പുതിയ കമാന്‍ഡര്‍ ഇന്‍ ചീഫ്.

ആറുമാസമായി ഐ.ആര്‍.ജി.സിയുടെ ഇടക്കാല മേധാവിയായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കമാന്‍ഡര്‍ ഇന്‍ ചീഫ് ആയി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
