എസ് ഐ ടി സന്നിധാനത്ത്, ശ്രീകോവിലിലെ നാലു തൂണുകള്‍ ഇളക്കി പരിശോധിക്കുന്നു, വീണ്ടും സ്വര്‍ണ പാളികളുടെ സാമ്പിള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കും

SIT at Sannidhanam: Four Pillars of Sreekovil Removed for Inspection; Gold Plate Samples to be Collected Again

പത്തനംതിട്ട : ശബരിമല സ്വര്‍ണക്കൊള്ളക്കേസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം (എസ്‌ഐടി) സന്നിധാനത്ത് എത്തി പരിശോധന ആരംഭിച്ചു. ശ്രീകോവിലിന് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സ്വര്‍ണപ്പാളികളുടെ സാംപിളുകള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കാനാണ് സംഘം എത്തിയത്. ഇതിനായി ശ്രീകോവിലിലെ നാലു തൂണുകള്‍ ഇളക്കി മാറ്റി പ്രത്യേകം തയാറാക്കിയ മുറിയിലെത്തിച്ചു വിശദമായി പരിശോധിക്കുകയാണ്.

നേരത്തെ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയില്‍ തട്ടിപ്പിന്റെ കൃത്യമായ വ്യാപ്തി കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ കഴിയാതിരുന്നതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ്, കൂടുതല്‍ പരിശോധനകള്‍ നടത്താന്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതി അനുമതി നല്‍കിയത്.

ഇതേസമയം, ശബരിമല സ്വര്‍ണ്ണക്കൊള്ളയില്‍ തിരുവാഭരണം മുന്‍ കമ്മിഷണര്‍ കെ.എസ് ബൈജുവിന് 90 ദിവസത്തെ റിമാന്‍ഡ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയായതിന് പിന്നാലെ കൊല്ലം വിജിലന്‍സ് കോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചു. ബൈജു സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച ഹര്‍ജിയിലാണ് സ്വാഭാവിക ജാമ്യം നല്‍കിയത്. ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചെങ്കിലും ദ്വാരപാലക കേസില്‍ റിമാന്‍ഡില്‍ തുടരുന്നതിനാല്‍ കെഎസ് ബൈജുവിന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങാനാകില്ല. ഈ മാസം 25 ന് ദ്വാരപാലക കേസില്‍ സ്വാഭാവിക ജാമ്യ ഹര്‍ജി സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാനാകും. 

സ്വര്‍ണ്ണക്കൊള്ളയില്‍ ഇതുവരെ ഒന്നാം പ്രതി ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന്‍ പോറ്റിയും എന്‍ വാസുവും ഉള്‍പ്പടെ നാല് പേര്‍ക്ക് സ്വാഭാവിക ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചു. ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ് മുന്‍ അംഗം കെ പി ശങ്കരദാസിനെ 14 ദിവസത്തേക്ക് കൂടി റിമാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്തു. 

Summary:  The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrived at Sannidhanam to conduct an inspection regarding the Sabarimala gold theft case. The team aims to collect samples of the gold plates surrounding the Sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum). For this purpose, four pillars of the Sreekovil were removed and moved to a specially prepared room for detailed examination.

The High Court granted permission for further inspection after previous attempts failed to determine the exact extent of the fraud.

Meanwhile, the Kollam Vigilance Court granted bail to the former Thiruvabharanam Commissioner, K.S. Baiju, following the completion of his 90-day remand period. Statutory bail was granted based on the petition filed by Baiju. However, despite getting bail in this case, he will remain in custody as he is still under remand in the Dwarapalaka case. He will be eligible to file a statutory bail plea in that case on the 25th of this month.

So far, four individuals, including the first accused Unnikrishnan Potti and N. Vasu, have received statutory bail in the gold theft case. Meanwhile, the remand for former Devaswom Board member K.P. Sankaradas has been extended for another 14 days.
