ആലപ്പുഴയില്‍ ഗുണ്ടാസംഘങ്ങള്‍ തോക്കുമായി ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി: 10 പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്ക്, പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു

ആലപ്പുഴ: ആലപ്പുഴയില്‍ തൃക്കുന്നപ്പുഴ വലിയ കുളങ്ങര ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവപ്പറമ്പില്‍ രണ്ട് ഗുണ്ടാസംഘങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മിലുണ്ടായ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില്‍ ഏകദേശം 10 പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു. സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിനിടെ ഒരാള്‍ തോക്ക് ചൂണ്ടി ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയതാണ് വലിയ അക്രമത്തിലേക്കു നയിച്ചത്.

തൃക്കുന്നപ്പുഴ സ്വദേശി വിഷ്ണു തോക്കു ചൂണ്ടിയതില്‍ പ്രകോപിതരായ എതിര്‍സംഘം യുവാവിന്റെ തലയ്ക്ക് പട്ടിക കൊണ്ട് അടിച്ചു പരിക്കേല്‍പ്പിച്ചു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഇരു സംഘങ്ങളും തമ്മില്‍ കൂട്ട അടി നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

പ്രവീണ്‍ പ്രസന്നന്‍, മണ്ണാറശാല മഹേഷ് എന്നിവര്‍ നയിക്കുന്ന സംഘങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മിലാണ് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലുണ്ടായത്. ഇരുവരും കാപ്പ കേസ് പ്രതികളാണ്. സംഘര്‍ഷം നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഗുണ്ടാ തലവന്മാര്‍ സ്ഥാലത്തില്ലായിരുന്നു.

സംഭവത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആലപ്പുഴ പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തുകയും തോക്ക് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും അക്രമത്തില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പരിക്കേറ്റ പത്തോളം പേരെ സമീപത്തെ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

പ്രദേശത്തെ ഗുണ്ടാസംഘങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള കുടിപ്പകയാണ് അക്രമത്തിന് പിന്നിലെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ട മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്കായി പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ഊര്‍ജിതമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

According to reports, a native of Thrikkunnapuzha named Vishnu pointed a gun during the altercation. Provoked by this, the rival gang struck him on the head with a wooden plank. This triggered a massive brawl between the two groups.

The clash involved gangs led by Praveen Prasannan and Mannarasala Mahesh, both of whom are accused in cases under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAPA). However, the gang leaders were reportedly not present at the scene during the incident.

Following the clash, the Alappuzha police arrived at the spot, seized the firearm, and registered cases against those involved. The ten injured individuals have been admitted to nearby hospitals.

Preliminary reports suggest that a long-standing feud between local gangs led to the violence. The police have intensified their investigation to track down the remaining suspects involved in the incident.
