ആണവ റിയാക്ടറുകള്‍, നിര്‍മ്മിത ബുദ്ധി, പ്രതിരോധം, ഊര്‍ജ്ജ സുരക്ഷ, ഭീകരവാദ വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങി നിര്‍ണായക മേഖലകളില്‍ സഹകരണം ഉറപ്പാക്കാന്‍ ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കും സാധിച്ചു.

2028 മുതല്‍ പ്രതിവര്‍ഷം 0.5 ദശലക്ഷം ടണ്‍ ദ്രവീകൃത പ്രകൃതിവാതകം വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി എച്ച്പിസിഎല്ലും അഡ്നോക് ഗ്യാസും തമ്മില്‍ 10 വര്‍ഷത്തെ കരാറില്‍ ഒപ്പിട്ടു.

ചെറുകിട മോഡുലാര്‍ റിയാക്ടറുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള അത്യാധുനിക ആണവ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യകളില്‍ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തിന് ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങളും സമ്മതിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പുതിയ 'ശാന്തി' നിയമം ഈ രംഗത്ത് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സഹകരണത്തിന് പുതിയ വഴികള്‍ തുറക്കുന്നതായി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഒരു സൂപ്പര്‍കമ്പ്യൂട്ടിംഗ് ക്ലസ്റ്റര്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കാനും ഡാറ്റാ സെന്ററുകളില്‍ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്താനും തീരുമാനമായി. കൂടാതെ, പരസ്പര പരമാധികാരം അംഗീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള 'ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ എംബസി' എന്ന ആശയവും ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്തു. അബുദാബിയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സംസ്‌കാരം വിളിച്ചോതുന്ന 'ഹൗസ് ഒഫ് ഇന്ത്യ' സ്ഥാപിക്കാനും ഇരുനേതാക്കളും തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

ഒരു 'സ്ട്രാറ്റജിക് ഡിഫന്‍സ് പാര്‍ട്ണര്‍ഷിപ്പ്' ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള താല്‍പ്പര്യ പത്രം കൈമാറി. അതിര്‍ത്തി കടന്നുള്ള ഭീകരവാദത്തെ ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങളും ശക്തമായി അപലപിച്ചു. നിലവില്‍ 100 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറായ ഉഭയകക്ഷി വ്യാപാരം 2032-ഓടെ 200 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറായി ഉയര്‍ത്താന്‍ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു. ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ധോലേര സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ഇന്‍വെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റ് റീജിയണില്‍ യുഎഇ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്തും.

Energy Security: A 10-year agreement was signed between HPCL and ADNOC Gas for the annual supply of 0.5 million tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) starting from 2028.

Nuclear Cooperation: Both countries agreed to partner in advanced nuclear technologies, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). Officials noted that India’s new 'SHANTI' law opens new doors for international collaboration in this field.

Digital & AI: Decisions were made to establish a supercomputing cluster in India and to invest in data centers. The concept of a ‘Digital Embassy,’ based on mutual sovereignty, was also discussed.

Culture: The leaders decided to establish a ‘House of India’ in Abu Dhabi to showcase Indian culture and heritage.

Defence & Trade: A Letter of Intent was exchanged aiming for a 'Strategic Defence Partnership.' Both nations strongly condemned cross-border terrorism. They also aim to double bilateral trade from the current $100 billion to $200 billion by 2032. Furthermore, the UAE will invest in the Dholera Special Investment Region in Gujarat.

Significance of the Brief Visit:

The UAE President's visit garnered global attention primarily due to its short duration. Despite a flight time of over three hours from Abu Dhabi to Delhi (totaling more than six hours round-trip), he spent only 1 hour and 45 minutes in India. This gesture highlights the deep friendship and trust between the two leaders.

The visit's importance is further magnified by current political situations in West Asia—including protests in Iran, the Israel-Gaza war, and the Yemen issue—as well as the strengthening strategic bond with India.

Moving Beyond Trade:

A major takeaway is that the relationship is evolving beyond mere trade into a Strategic Defence Partnership. The joint declaration to bring perpetrators and financiers of cross-border terrorism to justice underscores this security bond.

Additionally, cooperation in the space sector was confirmed, focusing on satellite manufacturing and launch facilities on a commercial basis. Discussions also touched upon the 'Bharat Mart' project to help small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) reach international markets, and the 'Bharat-Africa Setu' trade network, which connects West Asia and Africa with India.
