ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : കേരള മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി.എസ്. അച്യുതാനന്ദന് രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഉയര്‍ന്ന സിവിലിയന്‍ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മവിഭൂഷണ്‍ മരണാന്തരം സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച് രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ആദരം. സുപ്രീം കോടതി മുന്‍ ജഡ്ജി ജസ്റ്റിസ് കെ.ടി. തോമസിനും പ്രശസ്ത എഴുത്തുകാരന്‍ പി. നാരായണനും പത്മവിഭൂഷണ്‍ ലഭിച്ചു.

പത്മവിഭൂഷണ്‍ അഞ്ച് പേര്‍ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. അന്തരിച്ച ബോളിവുഡ് താരം ധര്‍മ്മേന്ദ്ര സിംഗ് ഡിയോള്‍, പ്രശസ്ത വയലിനിസ്റ്റ് എന്‍. രാജം, എന്നിവരും പത്മവിഭൂഷണ്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരത്തിന് അര്‍ഹരായി.

മലയാളത്തിന്റെ മഹാനടന്‍ മമ്മൂട്ടി, എസ്.എന്‍.ഡി.പി യോഗം ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി വെള്ളാപ്പള്ളി നടേശന്‍, ഗായിക അല്‍ക്ക യാഗ്‌നിക്, വ്യവസായി ഉദയ് കോട്ടക്, ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് മുന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഭഗത് സിംഗ് കോഷിയാരി, പരസ്യരംഗത്തെ പ്രമുഖന്‍ പിയൂഷ് പാണ്ഡെ (മരണാനന്തരം),  ടെന്നീസ് ഇതിഹാസം വിജയ് അമൃതരാജ് എന്നിവര്‍ക്ക് പത്മഭൂഷണ്‍ ലഭിച്ചു.

കൊല്ലക്കയില്‍ ദേവകി അമ്മ

ആലപ്പുഴ സ്വദേശിയായ പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവര്‍ത്തക കൊല്ലക്കയില്‍ ദേവകി അമ്മയ്ക്ക് പത്മശ്രീ നല്കും. അഞ്ച് ഏക്കറില്‍ മൂവായിരത്തിലധികം ഔഷധസസ്യങ്ങളും വന്‍മരങ്ങളും വച്ചുപിടിപ്പിച്ച് വനം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചതിനാണ് അംഗീകാരം. ഇത്തവണ 'അണ്‍സങ് ഹീറോസ്'  വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ 45 പേര്‍ക്ക് പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.

കേരളത്തിലെ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ഇതിഹാസ സമാനമായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കാണ് വിഎസിന് ഈ ആദരം. പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണം, അഴിമതിക്കെതിരായ പോരാട്ടം, സ്ത്രീ സുരക്ഷ തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങളില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം നടത്തിയ ഇടപെടലുകള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്.

പത്മശ്രീ ഇത്തവണ 113 പേര്‍ക്ക് പത്മശ്രീ ലഭിച്ചു. കായികരംഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീം മുന്‍ ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍ രോഹിത് ശര്‍മ്മ, വനിതാ ഹോക്കി താരം സവിത പുനിയ, ഗുസ്തി താരം ഹര്‍മന്‍പ്രീത് കൗര്‍ ഭുള്ളര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരത്തിന് അര്‍ഹരായി. കലാരംഗത്ത് നിന്ന് നടന്‍ പ്രോസന്‍ജിത് ചാറ്റര്‍ജി, ക്ലാസിക്കല്‍ ഗായിക തൃപ്തി മുഖര്‍ജി, നാടന്‍ കലാരംഗത്തെ തരുണ്‍ ഭട്ടാചാര്യ, പൊഖില ലെഖ്‌തേപി എന്നിവരും പട്ടികയിലുണ്ട്.

പത്മവിഭൂഷണ്‍, പത്മഭൂഷണ്‍, പത്മശ്രീ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലായി 131 പേര്‍ക്കാണ് ആദരവ് ലഭിച്ചത്. പൊതുജീവിതം, കല, സിനിമ, സാഹിത്യം, കായികം, പൊതുപ്രവര്‍ത്തനം തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രമുഖര്‍ പട്ടികയിലുണ്ട്. അഞ്ച് പത്മവിഭൂഷണും 13 പത്മഭൂഷണും 113 പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങളുമാണ് ഇത്തവണ അനുവദിച്ചത്.

പുരസ്‌കാര ജേതാക്കളില്‍ 19 സ്ത്രീകളും, ആറ് വിദേശികള്‍ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വിദേശത്തുള്ള ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വംശജരും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു. 16 പേര്‍ക്ക് മരണാനന്തര ബഹുമതിയായാണ് പുരസ്‌കാരം നല്‍കിയത്.

എല്ലാ വര്‍ഷവും റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് പത്മ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നത്. മാര്‍ച്ച് അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഏപ്രില്‍ മാസങ്ങളില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഈ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ സമ്മാനിക്കും.

Summary:  The nation has honored former Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan by posthumously conferring the Padma Vibhushan, the country's second-highest civilian award. Former Supreme Court Judge Justice K.T. Thomas and renowned writer P. Narayanan also received the Padma Vibhushan.

A total of five individuals were awarded the Padma Vibhushan this year. Along with the aforementioned, veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra Singh Deol and famous violinist N. Rajam were also honored with the award.

Padma Bhushan The Padma Bhushan was awarded to several luminaries, including:

Mammootty (Legendary Malayalam Actor)

Vellappally Natesan (SNDP Yogam General Secretary)

Alka Yagnik (Singer)

Uday Kotak (Industrialist)

Bhagat Singh Koshyari (Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister)

Piyush Pandey (Advertising veteran, Posthumous)

Vijay Amritraj (Tennis Legend)

Padma Shri Environmentalist Kollakkayil Devaki Amma, a native of Alappuzha, will be awarded the Padma Shri. This recognition comes for her remarkable feat of creating a forest by planting over 3,000 medicinal plants and large trees across five acres of land.

This year, 45 individuals were honored with the Padma Shri under the 'Unsung Heroes' category. In total, 113 people received the Padma Shri, including:

Sports: Former Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma, women's hockey player Savita Punia, and wrestler Harmanpreet Kaur Bhullar.

Arts: Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, classical vocalist Tripti Mukherjee, and folk artists Tarun Bhattacharya and Pokhila Lekthepi.

The honor for V.S. Achuthanandan recognizes his legendary contributions to the Communist movement in Kerala. His interventions in environmental protection, the fight against corruption, and women's safety were particularly noted.

A total of 131 individuals were honored across the three categories: 5 Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards. The list represents diverse fields such as public life, art, cinema, literature, sports, and social work.
