തൃശൂര്‍ : അഞ്ചു ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി നടന്ന 64-ാമത് സംസ്ഥാന സ്‌കൂള്‍ കലോത്സവത്തില്‍ നിലവിലെ ചാമ്പ്യന്മാരായ തൃശൂരിനെ കടുത്ത പോരാട്ടത്തില്‍ പിന്നിലാക്കി കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ല സ്വര്‍ണ്ണക്കിരീടം ചൂടി. 1028 പോയിന്റുമായി കണ്ണൂര്‍ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം തിരിച്ചുപിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ജേതാക്കള്‍: 

കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ല (1028 പോയിന്റ്).

രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം: തൃശൂര്‍ (1023 പോയിന്റ്).

മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനം: കോഴിക്കോട് (1017 പോയിന്റ്).

നാലാം സ്ഥാനം: പാലക്കാട് (1013 പോയിന്റ്).

പാലക്കാട് ആലത്തൂര്‍ ബി.എസ്.എസ് ഗുരുകുലം ഹയര്‍ സെക്കന്ററി സ്‌കൂള്‍ മികച്ച സ്‌കൂളിനുള്ള കിരീടം  നിലനിര്‍ത്തി.

സമാപന സമ്മേളനം: തൃശൂര്‍ തേക്കിന്‍കാട് മൈതാനത്തെ എക്‌സിബിഷന്‍ ഗ്രൗണ്ടില്‍ നടന്ന സമാപന സമ്മേളനം പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് വി.ഡി. സതീശന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ചടങ്ങില്‍ നടന്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി എത്തിയത് കാണികളിലും വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളിലും ആവേശമുണ്ടാക്കി. മന്ത്രി അഡ്വ. കെ. രാജന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച ചടങ്ങില്‍ വിവിധ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലെ വിജയികള്‍ക്ക് ട്രോഫികള്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി വി. ശിവന്‍കുട്ടി, മറ്റ് ജനപ്രതിനിധികള്‍, സാംസ്‌കാരിക നായകര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം നേരിയ പോയിന്റ് വ്യത്യാസത്തില്‍ നഷ്ടമായ കിരീടം കണ്ണൂര്‍ ഇത്തവണ തിരിച്ചുപിടിച്ചു. രോഗ്യപ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ കാരണം വേദിയിലെത്താന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത സിയ എന്ന വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിക്ക് ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി മത്സരത്തില്‍ പങ്കുചേരാന്‍ അവസരമൊരുക്കിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി വി. ശിവന്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ നടപടിയെ വി.ഡി. സതീശന്‍ പ്രത്യേകം അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.

തേക്കിന്‍കാട് മൈതാനത്തെ പ്രധാന വേദിയിലും മറ്റ് വേദികളിലും അവസാന ദിവസം വന്‍ ജനത്തിരക്കാണ് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത്. ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ കലോത്സവം തൃശൂരിന്റെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക പൈതൃകവും കൗമാരക്കാരുടെ കലാവൈഭവവും ഒത്തുചേര്‍ന്ന വലിയൊരു ആഘോഷമായി മാറി.

ഖദറണിഞ്ഞു, മീശ പിരിച്ചു ആവേശമായി മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍

കലോത്സവത്തിന്റെ സമാപന സമ്മേളന വേദിയില്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായി എത്തിയതോടെ തേക്കിന്‍കാട് മൈതാനം ആവേശക്കടലായി. സമാപന ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ ഖദര്‍ മുണ്ടും ഷര്‍ട്ടും ധരിച്ചാണ് മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ എത്തിയത്. തന്റെ വേഷത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം രസകരമായി സംസാരിച്ചു. 'നിങ്ങളെയൊക്കെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഖദര്‍ അണിഞ്ഞതെന്നും, കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി മീശ പിരിക്കാമെന്നും' അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. തൃശൂരിലെ കാണികളുടെ ആവശ്യപ്രകാരം വേദിയില്‍ വച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം മീശ പിരിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ വലിയ കൈയടിയാണ് ഉയര്‍ന്നത്.

ഭാവിയിലെ വലിയ കലാകാരന്മാരാണ് ഈ വേദികളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഉയര്‍ന്നു വരുന്നതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ഓര്‍മ്മിപ്പിച്ചു. വിജയപരാജയങ്ങള്‍ക്കപ്പുറം കലയെ നെഞ്ചേറ്റുന്ന പുതുതലമുറയ്ക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം ആശംസകള്‍ നേര്‍ന്നു. തന്റെ സിനിമാ ജീവിതത്തിലെ അനുഭവങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കുവച്ച താരം, തൃശൂരിന്റെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക മണ്ണില്‍ കലോത്സവം നടക്കുന്നതിലെ സന്തോഷവും പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു.

Summary: After five days of intense competition at the 64th State School Kalolsavam, Kannur district emerged victorious, reclaiming the golden trophy by overtaking the defending champions, Thrissur. Kannur secured the top spot with a total of 1,028 points.

BSS Gurukulam Higher Secondary School, Alathur (Palakkad), successfully maintained its dominance by winning the trophy for the Best Performing School.

Closing Ceremony

The valedictory function, held at the Exhibition Ground in Thrissur’s Thekkinkadu Maidan, was inaugurated by the Leader of the Opposition, V.D. Satheesan. The presence of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal as the chief guest created immense excitement among students and spectators alike. Minister Adv. K. Rajan presided over the event, where trophies were distributed to winners across various categories. Minister for Education V. Sivankutty, along with other people's representatives and cultural icons, attended the ceremony.

Kannur made a triumphant comeback this year, reclaiming the title they lost by a narrow margin last year. During the event, V.D. Satheesan specifically lauded Education Minister V. Sivankutty for his intervention in allowing Siya, a student unable to reach the venue due to health issues, to participate in the competition online. The final day witnessed a massive turnout at the main stage in Thekkinkadu Maidan and other venues, turning the festival into a grand celebration of Thrissur’s cultural heritage and the artistic prowess of the youth.

Mohanlal Charms the Crowd in Khadi and Iconic Style

The Thekkinkadu Maidan turned into a sea of fans as Mohanlal arrived for the closing ceremony. Dressed in a traditional Khadi dhoti and shirt, the actor spoke lightheartedly about his attire, stating, "I wore Khadi to make you all happy, and for the children, I can even twirl my mustache." The crowd erupted in cheers when he twirled his mustache on stage upon the request of the Thrissur audience.

Reminding the audience that the great artists of the future emerge from such platforms, he extended his best wishes to the new generation that embraces art beyond victory or defeat. Sharing experiences from his own cinematic journey, the star expressed his joy in seeing the festival hosted on the culturally rich soil of Thrissur.
