ചെന്നൈ: വരുന്ന നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനുള്ള ഒരുക്കമെന്ന നിലയില് റിലീസ് ചെയ്യാനിരുന്ന വിജയ് ചിത്രം ജനനായകന് സെന്സര് കുരുക്കില് നിന്നു മോചനമായില്ല. റിലീസിന് ദിവസങ്ങള് മാത്രം ബാക്കിനില്ക്കെ സെന്സര് സര്ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് വൈകുന്നതിനെതിരെ നിര്മ്മാതാക്കളായ കെ.വി.എന് പ്രൊഡക്ഷന്സ് സമര്പ്പിച്ച ഹര്ജി മദ്രാസ് ഹൈക്കോടതി പരിഗണിച്ചു. ജസ്റ്റിസ് പി.ടി. ആശയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള ബെഞ്ചാണ് കേസ് കേസ് പരിഗണിച്ചത്.
വിജയ് രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്പുള്ള അവസാന ചിത്രമായതിനാല് ഈ നിയമപോരാട്ടത്തെ അതീവ ഗൗരവത്തോടെയാണ് ആരാധകരും സിനിമാലോകവും നോക്കിക്കാണുന്നത്.
ചിത്രത്തിന് നേരത്തെ യു/എ സര്ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് നല്കാന് പരിശോധനാ സമിതി ശുപാര്ശ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്, സിനിമയിലെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങള് മതവികാരം വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുവെന്നും സൈന്യത്തെ മോശമായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും കാണിച്ച് ഒരാള് പരാതി നല്കിയതായി സെന്സര് ബോര്ഡ് കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇതിനെത്തുടര്ന്ന് സിനിമ പുനഃപരിശോധനാ സമിതിയുടെ പരിഗണനയ്ക്ക് വിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
സിനിമ ഇതുവരെ പൊതുജനങ്ങള് കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തില് ഇത്തരമൊരു പരാതി എങ്ങനെ ലഭിച്ചു എന്നത് സംശയാസ്പദമാണെന്ന് നിര്മ്മാതാക്കള് വാദിച്ചു.
