The UDF has made a clear advancement in the Kerala Local Self-Government Elections across the Corporation, Municipality, Block, and Grama Panchayat

തിരുവനന്തപുരം : കേരള തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍, മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റി, ബ്ലോക്ക്, ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് തലങ്ങളില്‍ യുഡിഎഫ്  യുഡിഎഫിന് വ്യക്തമായ മുന്നേറ്റം. തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പറേഷനില്‍ ബിജെപി വന്‍ മുന്നേറ്റമുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനില്‍ എന്‍ഡിഎ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഒറ്റകക്ഷിയായി അധികാരത്തിന് തൊട്ടടുത്തെത്തി. കേവല ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തിന് 51 സീറ്റുകള്‍ വേണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ എന്‍ഡിഎയ്ക്ക് 48 സീറ്റുകളാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. എല്‍ഡിഎഫിന് 27 സീറ്റുകളും യുഡിഎഫിന് 20 സീറ്റുകളും ലഭിച്ചു.

കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍: യുഡിഎഫ് മികച്ച വിജയം നേടി. യുഡിഎഫ് 46, എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 20, എന്‍ഡിഎ 6.

കണ്ണൂര്‍ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍: 36 സീറ്റുകള്‍ നേടി യുഡിഎഫ് ഭരണം ഉറപ്പിച്ചു. എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 15, എന്‍ഡിഎ 4.

തൃശൂര്‍ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍: യുഡിഎഫ് 33, എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 11, എന്‍ഡിഎ 8.

കോഴിക്കോട് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍: എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 28, യുഡിഎഫ് 26, എന്‍ഡിഎ 13.

കൊല്ലം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍: യുഡിഎഫ് 18, എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 14, എന്‍ഡിഎ 9.

ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍, മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റികള്‍, ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ യുഡിഎഫ് വ്യക്തമായ ആധിപത്യം നേടി. അഞ്ഞൂറോളം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകളില്‍ യുഡിഎഫ് ഭരണമുറപ്പിച്ചു. ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്തുകളില്‍ ഇരു മുന്നണികളും (യുഡിഎഫ് 7, എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് 7) തുല്യ ശക്തി തെളിയിച്ചു.

Summary:  The UDF has made a clear advancement in the Kerala Local Self-Government Elections across the Corporation, Municipality, Block, and Grama Panchayat levels. The BJP also made a major breakthrough in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.

In the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, the NDA emerged as the single largest party, narrowly missing a clear majority. The NDA secured 48 seats, falling just short of the 51 seats required for an absolute majority. The LDF received 27 seats and the UDF 20 seats.

Corporation Results: Ernakulam Corporation: UDF achieved a clear victory. UDF 46, LDF 20, NDA 6.

Kannur Corporation: UDF secured power by winning 36 seats. LDF 15, NDA 4.

Thrissur Corporation: UDF 33, LDF 11, NDA 8.

Kozhikode Corporation: LDF 28, UDF 26, NDA 13.

Kollam Corporation: UDF 18, LDF 14, NDA 9.

The UDF secured a clear dominance in Grama Panchayats, Municipalities, and Block Panchayats. The UDF has confirmed rule in approximately five hundred Grama Panchayats. In the District Panchayats, both fronts (UDF 7, LDF 7) demonstrated equal strength.
