തിരുവനന്തപുരം : തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനില്‍ ബിജെപി അധികാരത്തിലെത്തിയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ തലസ്ഥാന നഗരത്തിനായി വലിയ വികസന പ്രഖ്യാപനങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്നതിനായി 

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോഡി ജനുവരിയില്‍ തലസ്ഥാനത്തെത്തും. മാര്‍ച്ചില്‍ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് വിജ്ഞാപനം വരുമെന്നതു കൂടിയാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനു പിന്നിലെ കാരണം.

'വികസിത അനന്തപുരി' എന്ന പേരില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരത്തിനായി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ സമഗ്ര വികസന രേഖ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നേരിട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും. ബിജെപിക്ക് കേരളത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായി ഭരണം ലഭിച്ച കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ എന്ന നിലയില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിന് വലിയ പ്രാധാന്യമാണ് കേന്ദ്രം നല്‍കുന്നത്.

പ്രധാന പ്രഖ്യാപനങ്ങള്‍:

തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെട്രോ മെട്രോ റെയില്‍ പദ്ധതിക്ക് കേന്ദ്ര അനുമതി നല്‍കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സുപ്രധാന പ്രഖ്യാപനം ഉണ്ടായേക്കും.

തലസ്ഥാന നഗരത്തില്‍ ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സ് വേദിയൊരുക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങള്‍.

സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് സിറ്റി പദ്ധതിയുടെ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായുള്ള പുതിയ പദ്ധതികളുടെ വികസരേഖയും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അവതരിപ്പിക്കും.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരസഭയിലെ ബിജെപി കൗണ്‍സിലര്‍മാരുമായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പ്രത്യേക കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തും.

സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന്റെ കൃത്യമായ തീയതി പിന്നീട് സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുമെങ്കിലും, ജനുവരി 9-ന് തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ പുതുക്കോട്ടയില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പാര്‍ട്ടി പരിപാടിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം എത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെയോ അനുബന്ധമായോ കേരള സന്ദര്‍ശനം ഉണ്ടായേക്കാം.

കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ ഭരണത്തില്‍ ബിജെപി വിജയിച്ചാല്‍ 45 ദിവസത്തിനകം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി തലസ്ഥാനത്തെത്തുമെന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വാഗ്ദാനത്തിന്റെ കൂടി ഭാഗമായാണ് ഈ സന്ദര്‍ശനം. ബിജെപി പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കും തലസ്ഥാന നിവാസികള്‍ക്കും വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷ നല്‍കുന്ന ഒന്നായിരിക്കും ഈ സന്ദര്‍ശനമെന്നാണ് ബിജെപി വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്നത്.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ മേയര്‍ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടതിന് പിന്നാലെ, നഗരത്തിനായി താന്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യ മുന്‍ഗണനാ പദ്ധതിയെക്കുറിച്ച് വി.വി. രാജേഷ് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ഇതില്‍ പല കാര്യങ്ങളും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചേക്കുമെന്നാണ് അറിയുന്നത്.

നഗരത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിനായി കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ പ്രത്യേക സഹായത്തോടെയുള്ള പാക്കേജുകള്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരിക എന്നതാണ് പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം. ഇവ ഉടന്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം തുടങ്ങിവയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ബിജെപിക്ക് അതു ഗുണമായേക്കും.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരം നേരിടുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വെല്ലുവിളിയായ മാലിന്യ പ്രശ്‌നത്തിന് ശാശ്വത പരിഹാരം കാണുന്നതിനായിരിക്കും ആദ്യ മുന്‍ഗണനയെന്ന് വി.വി. രാജേഷ്  സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു. ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ മാലിന്യ സംസ്‌കരണ സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ നഗരത്തില്‍ ഉടനീളം നടപ്പിലാക്കും.

കഴിഞ്ഞ അഞ്ച് വര്‍ഷം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനില്‍ നടന്നതായി പറയപ്പെടുന്ന അഴിമതികള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച് സുതാര്യമായ ഭരണം ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉറപ്പാക്കുക എന്നതാണ് തന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയമായ ദൗത്യമെന്ന് വി.വി. രാജേഷ്  വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

Summary:  ollowing the BJP's historic victory in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the capital city in January to announce major development projects. The visit is strategically timed, as the notification for the Kerala Assembly elections is expected to be issued in March.

The Prime Minister is expected to personally unveil a comprehensive development roadmap titled 'Vikasitha Ananthapuri' (Developed Thiruvananthapuram). The Center is giving significant importance to Thiruvananthapuram, as it is the first Corporation in Kerala where the BJP has come to power.

Major Announcements:

Thiruvananthapuram Metro: A crucial announcement regarding central approval for the Metro Rail project is expected.

Olympics Venue: Promises regarding the establishment of venues to host Olympic-standard events in the capital.

Smart City: The PM will present a vision for new projects that will serve as a continuation of the Smart City mission.

Meeting with Councilors: The Prime Minister will hold a special meeting with the newly elected BJP councilors of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.

While the exact dates of the visit are yet to be finalized, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend a party event in Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, on January 9. His Kerala visit is likely to take place immediately before or after this event.

This visit fulfills a campaign promise that the Prime Minister would visit the capital within 45 days if the BJP won the Corporation. BJP sources state that the visit will bring great hope to party workers and city residents alike.

Following his announcement as the Mayoral candidate, V.V. Rajesh had outlined his top priority projects for the city. It is understood that many of these will be included in the Prime Minister's announcements.

The primary goal is to introduce special aid packages from the Central Government for the city’s infrastructure development. If these are announced and initiated promptly, it is expected to benefit the BJP significantly in the upcoming Assembly elections. V.V. Rajesh also indicated that finding a permanent solution to the city's biggest challenge—waste management—would be his first priority. He plans to implement scientific waste treatment systems across the city. He further stated that his political mission is to ensure transparent governance for the people, ending the alleged corruption that occurred in the Corporation over the past five years.
