Pakistan clinches U-19 Asia Cup title by defeating India by 192 runs
ദുബായ്: 2025 ലെ അണ്ടര്-19 ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പ് ഫൈനലില് ഇന്ത്യയെ 192 റണ്സിന് പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തി പാകിസ്താന് കിരീടം ചൂടി. ദുബായില് നടന്ന പോരാട്ടത്തില് പാകിസ്താന് ഉയര്ത്തിയ 348 റണ്സ് എന്ന വിജയലക്ഷ്യം പിന്തുടര്ന്ന ഇന്ത്യ 26.2 ഓവറില് വെറും 156 റണ്സിന് പുറത്തായി.
ടോസ് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് ബാറ്റിംഗിനിറങ്ങിയ പാകിസ്താന് വേണ്ടി ഓപ്പണര് സമീര് മിന്ഹാസ് 113 പന്തില് നിന്ന് 172 റണ്സ് അടിച്ചുകൂട്ടി. മിന്ഹാസ് അണ്ടര്-19 ഏഷ്യ കപ്പ് ഫൈനലിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്ന്ന വ്യക്തിഗത സ്കോര് എന്ന റെക്കോര്ഡും സ്വന്തമാക്കി. അഹമ്മദ് ഹുസൈന് (50) അര്ദ്ധ സെഞ്ച്വറി നേടി മിന്ഹാസിന് മികച്ച പിന്തുണ നല്കി.

India's start was disastrous while chasing the huge target. They lost five top-order wickets within the first 10 overs. Openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi (23) and Ayush Mhatre (11) failed to find big scores. The efforts of Deepesh Devendran (36) and Khilan Patel (25) only served to reduce the margin of defeat.
The precise bowling of the Pakistani bowlers dismantled the Indian batting lineup, with Ali Raza and others delivering standout performances.
Sameer Minhas, who performed brilliantly throughout the tournament including his 172-run knock in the final, bagged both the Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament awards. This is Pakistan's second Under-19 Asia Cup title (the first being in 2012).
India, who had defeated Pakistan in the group stage, could not repeat that performance in the final. Aiming for a record ninth title, India ultimately had to face a crushing defeat.
