കൊച്ചി: കേരളത്തിലെ സ്വര്‍ണവില ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യമായി ഒരു പവന്‍ സ്വര്‍ണത്തിന് ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ എന്ന റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് നിലവാരത്തില്‍ എത്തി. ഇന്ന് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സ്വര്‍ണവിലയില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ വന്‍ വര്‍ധനവോടെയാണ് ഈ ചരിത്ര നേട്ടം കുറിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.

ഇന്നത്തെ സ്വര്‍ണവില (22 കാരറ്റ്):

ഒരു പവന്‍ (8 ഗ്രാം):  1,01,600 രൂപ.

ഒരു ഗ്രാം: 12,500 രൂപ

കേരളത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായാണ് സ്വര്‍ണവില ആറക്കത്തില്‍ (ഒരു ലക്ഷം) എത്തുന്നത്. ഈ മാസം തുടക്കത്തില്‍ 95,680 രൂപയായിരുന്നു പവന്‍ വില. വെറും 23 ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ നാലായിരത്തിലധികം രൂപയുടെ വര്‍ധനയാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്.

ശുദ്ധമായ സ്വര്‍ണത്തിന് (99.9% പ്യൂരിറ്റി) ഗ്രാമിന് ഏകദേശം 13,636 രൂപയ്ക്ക് മുകളിലാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ വില.

അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിപണിയില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണവില ഔണ്‍സിന് വലിയ തോതില്‍ വര്‍ധിച്ചത് വില കൂടാന്‍ പ്രധാന കാരണമാണ്. ആഗോള സാമ്പത്തിക അനിശ്ചിതത്വങ്ങളും യുദ്ധസാഹചര്യങ്ങളും നിക്ഷേപകര്‍ സുരക്ഷിത നിക്ഷേപം എന്ന നിലയില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണത്തിലേക്ക് മാറാന്‍ കാരണമായി. ഡോളറിനെതിരെ രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യത്തിലുണ്ടായ ഇടിവും ആഭ്യന്തര വിപണിയില്‍ വില വര്‍ധിക്കാന്‍ ഇടയാക്കി.

സ്വര്‍ണത്തിന് ഒരു പവന്‍ വാങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ ഈ പത്തുലക്ഷം രൂപയ്ക്ക് പുറമെ 3% ജി.എസ്.ടി, കുറഞ്ഞത് 5% എങ്കിലും പണിക്കൂലി, പ്രളയ സെസ് തുടങ്ങിയവയും നല്‍കേണ്ടി വരും. അതിനാല്‍ ഒരു പവന്‍ സ്വര്‍ണാഭരണം വാങ്ങാന്‍ ശരാശരി 1,08,000 രൂപയ്ക്കും 1,10,000 രൂപയ്ക്കും ഇടയില്‍ നല്‍കേണ്ടി വരും.

വിവാഹ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി സ്വര്‍ണം വാങ്ങാനിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും നിക്ഷേപകര്‍ക്കും ഈ വിലക്കയറ്റം വലിയ തിരിച്ചടിയാണ് നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതേസമയം, പഴയ സ്വര്‍ണം വില്‍ക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത് മികച്ച ലാഭം നേടിക്കൊടുക്കുന്ന സമയവുമാണ്.

This is the first time in Kerala's history that gold prices have reached six figures. At the beginning of this month, the price stood at ?95,680 per pavan. In just 23 days, the price has seen an increase of over four thousand rupees.

For pure gold (99.9% purity/24 Carat), the price today is above ?13,636 per gram.

Reasons for the Price Hike:

A significant increase in gold prices per ounce in the international market.

Global economic uncertainties and war situations have led investors to shift toward gold as a safe-haven investment.

The depreciation of the Rupee against the Dollar has also contributed to the price rise in the domestic market.

Total Cost for Consumers:

When purchasing one pavan of gold, in addition to the base price of one lakh rupees, consumers must pay 3% GST, a minimum of 5% making charges, and the Kerala Flood Cess. Consequently, to buy one pavan of gold jewelry, a consumer will have to spend between ?1,08,000 and ?1,10,000 on average.

This price hike serves as a major setback for investors and those planning to buy gold for weddings. On the other hand, it is an ideal time for those selling old gold to reap significant profits.

Meanwhile, gold merchants have expressed concerns, stating that they have incurred heavy losses due to advance booking orders placed at lower rates.
