പിടിയിലായവരില്‍ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയും ഉള്‍പെടുന്നു. ഏപ്രില്‍ നാലിനാണു സംഭവം. ഒരു പഞ്ചനക്ഷത്ര ഹോട്ടലില്‍ നടന്ന പരിപാടിക്കു ശേഷം പുറത്തു വന്നപ്പോഴാണ് യുവതിയെ തടഞ്ഞു നിര്‍ത്തിയ പൊലീസുകാരന്‍ ബലമായി വാഹനത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ കയറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടു പോവുകയായിരുന്നു.
പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിച്ച ഇവരെ മാനഭംഗത്തിനിരയാക്കി. ഇവരുടെ കൈവശമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പണവും പൊലീസുകാര്‍ തട്ടിയെടുത്തു. സംഭവത്തിനു ശേഷം നഗരം വിട്ടുപോയ യുവതി സിറ്റി പൊലീസ് കമ്മീഷണര്‍ക്കു പരാതി അയച്ചു.
യുവതിയെ വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തി വിശദാംശങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ കമ്മിഷണറുടെ ഉത്തരവിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണു പ്രതികളെ അറസ്റ്റു ചെയ്തത്.
പ്രതികള്‍ക്കെതിരേ കര്‍ശന നടപടിക്കു സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉത്തരവിട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Three policemen and a woman are among six arrested in Mumbai on Wednesday for the alleged rape of a model inside a police station. The policemen allegedly also extorted money and gold from her.
The 29-year-old woman sent a text message to Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria on Tuesday, alleging that she had been assaulted inside a police station. She told him that she had fled the city after the alleged rape, fearing harassment.
Mr Maria called her to his office on Wednesday and after speaking to her, ordered action. Cases of rape, sexual harassment and extortion have been filed against two assistant police inspectors, a constable and three others.
