തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ് സ്വദേശിയായ പതിനാറുകാരി കോവളത്ത് സ്പായില്‍ കടുത്ത ലൈംഗിക ചൂഷണത്തിന് ഇരയായ കേസില്‍ ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നുള്ള ക്രൂരതയാണ് പുറത്തുവരുന്നത്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ കുട്ടിയുടെ അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയെയും ഭര്‍ത്താവിനെയും ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശില്‍ നിന്നു പോലീസ് പിടികൂടി. പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയാകാത്ത പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ സ്പായില്‍ എത്തിച്ച ശേഷം പ്രായം തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി വ്യാജരേഖകള്‍ ചമച്ചതും ഇവരാണെന്ന് പൊലീസിന് വ്യക്തമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേസില്‍ നേരത്തെ രണ്ട് സ്പാ ഉടമകളെയും പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

രണ്ടു വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോള്‍ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ അമ്മയുടെ അനിയത്തിയുടെ സംരക്ഷണയിലാണ് വളര്‍ത്തിയത്. ഈ ഇളയമ്മ തന്നെയാണ് പണം വാങ്ങി കുട്ടിയെ സ്പായിലേക്ക് വിറ്റത്. പിന്നീട് കുട്ടിയെ കാണാനില്ലെന്ന് കാട്ടി പോലീസില്‍ പരാതി നല്‍കിയതും ഇളയമ്മ തന്നെയാണ്. ഈ പരാതി കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് സ്പായിലെ പീഡന വിവരങ്ങളും ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ ചതിയും പുറംലോകമറിഞ്ഞത്.

വിഴിഞ്ഞത്തെ കേരള ആയുര്‍വേദ, ആയുര്‍ കേരള എന്നീ സ്പാകളിലാണ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ എത്തിച്ച് പീഡനത്തിനിരയാക്കിയത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇത് സാധാരണ ആയുര്‍വേദ ചികിത്സാ കേന്ദ്രമാണെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ കരുതിയിരുന്നത്. വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണത്തിനൊടുവില്‍ സ്പാ ഉടമകളായ സജിത്ത്, നിഷാന്ത് എന്നിവരെ പൊലീസ് ഇതിനോടകം അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേസിലെ ഒന്നാം പ്രതിയും രണ്ടാം പ്രതിയും പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ രണ്ടാനമ്മയും ഭര്‍ത്താവുമാണ്.

മാസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്‍പ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ ആദ്യമായി കോവളത്തെ ഒരു സ്പായില്‍ എത്തിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് സമീപത്തുള്ള മറ്റൊരു സ്പായിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയുമായിരുന്നു. ബോര്‍ഡ് പോലും സ്ഥാപിക്കാതെ സാധാരണ വീട് പോലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ആദ്യത്തെ സ്പാ. ഇതിനിടയില്‍ സ്പായിലെത്തിയ ഒരു യുവാവുമായി അടുപ്പത്തിലായ പെണ്‍കുട്ടി അവിടെനിന്ന് നാടുവിട്ടതോടെയാണ് ഇളയമ്മ പരാതിയുമായി പോലീസിനെ സമീപിച്ചത്. നിലവില്‍ പോലീസിന്റെ നടപടിയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് രണ്ട് സ്പാകളും പൂട്ടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്പാ നടത്തിപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനിലെ ഒരു ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ജീവനക്കാരന് പങ്കുണ്ടെന്ന വിവരവും പുറത്തുവരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇക്കാര്യവും പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു.

പ്രതിയായ നിഷാദിന്റെ അക്കൗണ്ട് പരിശോധിച്ചതില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരസഭയിലെ ഒരു ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ഇന്‍സ്‌പെക്ടര്‍ക്ക് സ്പാ നടത്തിപ്പുമായി നേരിട്ട് ബന്ധമുണ്ടെന്ന ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്ന തെളിവുകളും പൊലീസിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ഇന്‍സ്‌പെക്ടറുടെ ബിനാമി ബിസിനസ്സാണ് ഇതെന്നും, സ്പായിലെ സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ക്കുള്ള പണം നല്‍കാന്‍ ഇയാളുടെ പേരിലുള്ള സ്‌കാനറാണ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്നും കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 

കോവളത്തിന് പുറമെ ചെന്നൈ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള വിവിധ സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ എത്തിച്ചും പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ ചൂഷണത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയതായി പോലീസിന് വിവരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ചെന്നൈയില്‍ വച്ചാണ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയതെന്ന് മൊഴികളില്‍ വ്യക്തമാകുന്നു. പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെയും കസ്റ്റഡിയിലുള്ള ബന്ധുക്കളുടെയും മൊഴികളില്‍ ചില വൈരുധ്യങ്ങള്‍ നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും അവ വ്യക്തമാക്കാനുള്ള പരിശ്രമത്തിലാണ് പോലീസെന്നും അറിയുന്നു. പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ സ്‌കൂള്‍ രേഖകള്‍ പരിശോധിച്ചതോടെയാണ് കുട്ടിക്ക് 16 വയസ്സ് മാത്രമാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതും കേസിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം പോക്‌സോ വകുപ്പുകളിലേക്ക് മാറിയതും.

കേസിന്റെ ഗൗരവം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് കോവളം സി.ഐയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം രൂപീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശില്‍ നിന്ന് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ കോവളത്തേക്ക് എത്തിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിച്ചവരെക്കുറിച്ചും വരും ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ വിശദമായി അന്വേഷിക്കും. പ്രതികളുടെയും സംശയനിഴലിലുള്ളവരുടെയും ഫോണ്‍ രേഖകള്‍ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തിന്റെ പരിശോധനകള്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നത്.

In the case involving the severe sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh at a spa in Kovalam, the horrific cruelty inflicted by her own relatives has come to light. Police have arrested the victim's maternal aunt and her husband from Andhra Pradesh. Investigations revealed that they were the ones who brought the minor girl to the spa and forged fake documents to make her appear older. Two spa owners had earlier been arrested in connection with the case.

The girl, who lost her parents when she was two years old, was raised under the care of her mother's younger sister. It was this very aunt who sold the child to the spa for money. Ironically, it was the same aunt who later filed a police complaint claiming the girl was missing. It was during the investigation into this missing person's report that the details of the spa abuse and the betrayal by her relatives surfaced.

The girl was subjected to abuse after being brought to two spas in Vizhinjam: Kerala Ayurveda and Ayu Kerala. Local residents had believed these were ordinary Ayurvedic treatment centers. Following a thorough investigation, the police have already arrested the spa owners, Sajith and Nishanth. The primary accused (accused numbers one and two) are the girl's stepmother (aunt) and her husband.

Months ago, the girl was first brought to a spa in Kovalam and later shifted to another nearby spa. The first spa operated out of an ordinary house without even a signboard. In the meantime, the girl developed a relationship with a young man who visited the spa and eloped with him, which prompted the aunt to approach the police with the complaint. Following police action, both spas have now been shut down. Information has also emerged suggesting the involvement of a health employee from the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation in running the spa, and the police are investigating this angle as well.

An examination of the account of the accused, Nishanth, revealed shocking evidence linking a Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Health Inspector directly to the spa operations. Investigators found that this was a benami (proxy) business for the Health Inspector, and a QR code scanner in his name was used to collect payments for spa services.

Police have also received information that, apart from Kovalam, the relatives subjected the girl to exploitation by taking her to various other places, including Chennai. Statements indicate that the abuse began in Chennai. Authorities note that some contradictions exist between the statements given by the girl and the detained relatives, and efforts are underway to clarify them. Verification of the girl's school records confirmed that she was only 16 years old, which shifted the nature of the case to include POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) acts.

Given the gravity of the case, a special investigation team has been formed under the leadership of the Kovalam Circle Inspector (C.I.). In the coming days, the police will also conduct a detailed investigation into those who helped transport the girl from Andhra Pradesh to Kovalam. The investigation team's probe is currently proceeding by focusing on the call records of the accused and those under suspicion.
