US President Donald Trump announced that he has signed the largest oil deal in world history with Venezuela.

Through this agreement, the United States will gain control over a major portion of Venezuela's 65 billion barrel crude oil reserves. Trump stated that this deal will more than double US oil reserves and help lower fuel prices.

The agreement was prepared jointly by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodríguez, and private corporate partners.

The deal was made possible through private sector participation at no cost to American taxpayers. It aims to attract approximately $100 billion in private sector investment for the development of Venezuelan infrastructure.
