കണ്ണൂരിലെ പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ വീടിന്റെയും മകളുടെ ഭൂമിയുടെയും ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ പകര്‍ത്തി ഇഡി

ED Captures Photos of Pinarayi Vijayan's House and Daughter's Land in Kannur

കണ്ണൂര്‍ : പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ കണ്ണൂരിലെ വീട്ടിനു മുന്നിലെത്തിയ എന്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്റ് സംഘം ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ പകര്‍ത്തി മടങ്ങി. ഇന്നു രാവിലെ 10:30 നാണ് രണ്ട് എന്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ്‌മെന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റ് (ഇ.ഡി) ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പാതിരിയാട് വില്ലേജ് ഓഫിസറെയും കൂട്ടി പിണറായിയിലെ വീട്ടിലെത്തിയത്. വീടിനു മുന്നിലുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ ഫോട്ടോകള്‍ പകര്‍ത്തിയ ശേഷം സംഘം മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

ഇതിനുശേഷം ഇ.ഡി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പിണറായി വില്ലേജിലെ എടക്കടവ് പ്രദേശത്ത് എത്തി. ഇവിടെ പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ മകള്‍ വീണാ വിജയന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ഭൂമിയുണ്ട്. വില്ലേജ് ഓഫിസര്‍ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെയും ഫോട്ടോകള്‍ എടുത്ത ശേഷമാണ് സംഘം മടങ്ങിയത്.

എന്തിനാണ് പരിശോധന നടത്തിയത് എന്നതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് ഇ.ഡി അധികൃതരുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഔദ്യോഗിക വിശദീകരണമൊന്നും ഇതുവരെ ലഭ്യമായിട്ടില്ല.

ഇതൊരു സാധാരണ രീതിയിലുള്ള 'റെയ്ഡ്' അല്ല, മറിച്ച് ആസ്തികള്‍ അളന്നുതിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന്റെയും മൂല്യനിര്‍ണ്ണയത്തിന്റെയുംഭാഗമായി നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയായിരുന്നു. കള്ളപ്പണം വെളുപ്പിക്കല്‍ നിരോധന നിയമപ്രകാരം അന്വേഷണം നേരിടുന്ന വ്യക്തികളുടെയോ അവരുടെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുടെയോ പേരിലുള്ള സ്വത്തുക്കളുടെ വിപണി മൂല്യം, വിസ്തീര്‍ണ്ണം എന്നിവ നേരിട്ട് കണ്ട് ബോധ്യപ്പെടാനും അവയുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കാനുമാണ് വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസറെ കൂട്ടി ഇ.ഡി എത്തിയത്. ഭാവിയില്‍ സ്വത്ത് കണ്ടുകെട്ടല്‍ പോലുള്ള നടപടികളിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായാണ് ഇത്തരം പരിശോധനകള്‍ നടത്താറുള്ളത്.

വീണാ വിജയന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന 'എക്‌സാലോജിക് സൊല്യൂഷന്‍സ്' എന്ന കമ്പനിക്ക് കൊച്ചിന്‍ മിനറല്‍സ് ആന്‍ഡ് റൂട്ടൈല്‍ ലിമിറ്റഡ് എന്ന സ്വകാര്യ കരിമണല്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍ നിന്നു സേവനങ്ങളൊന്നും നല്‍കാതെ 2.78 കോടി രൂപ ലഭിച്ചു എന്ന ആരോപണത്തിലാണ് ഇ.ഡി അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുന്നത്.

സീരിയസ് ഫ്രോഡ് ഇന്‍വെസ്റ്റിഗേഷന്‍ ഓഫീസ് ഈ കേസില്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച കുറ്റപത്രത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഇ.ഡി കള്ളപ്പണ നിരോധന നിയമപ്രകാരം അന്വേഷണം ശക്തമാക്കിയത്.

ഈ കേസിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ജൂണ്‍ മാസത്തില്‍ വീണാ വിജയനെ കൊച്ചിയിലെ ഇ.ഡി ഓഫീസില്‍ മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യുകയും അവരുടെ ബാങ്ക് ലോക്കറുകള്‍ പരിശോധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

ഇതിനുമുമ്പ് 2026 മേയ് 27-ന് പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ കണ്ണൂരിലെയും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെയും വീടുകളില്‍ ഇ.ഡി വിശദമായ റെയ്ഡ് നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. അന്ന് ബാങ്ക് നിക്ഷേപ രേഖകളും ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ തെളിവുകളും പിടിച്ചെടുത്തതായി ഇ.ഡി അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. അത്തരം രേഖകളില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ഭൂമിയിടപാടുകളുടെ കൃത്യത പരിശോധിക്കാനാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ നേരിട്ടുള്ള ഈ സ്ഥലപരിശോധന എന്നാണ് സൂചന.

വീണാ വിജയനെതിരെയുള്ള സി.എം.ആര്‍.എല്‍ സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാട് കേസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട്, അവരുടെ പേരിലുള്ള ആസ്തികളുടെ കൃത്യമായ വിവരങ്ങളും ഫോട്ടോകളും ശേഖരിച്ച് കേസ് ഡയറിയുടെ ഭാഗമാക്കാനാണ് ഇ.ഡി സംഘം പാതിരിയാട്, പിണറായി വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസര്‍മാരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഇന്ന് എത്തിയത്.

Summary:  An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team arrived at the residence of Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan in Kannur, took photographs of the premises, and left. The two-member ED team, accompanied by the Pathiriyad Village Officer, arrived at the Pinarayi residence at around 10:30 AM today. After capturing photos of the area in front of the house, the team departed.

Following this, the ED officials proceeded to the Edakkadavu area in Pinarayi Village, where land owned by Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter, Veena Vijayan, is located. The team took photos of this plot, which was identified and shown to them by the Village Officer, before leaving the site.

No official explanation has been released by the ED authorities so far regarding the purpose of this inspection.

This was not a conventional 'raid', but rather an inspection conducted as part of asset mapping and valuation. The ED team, along with the Village Officer, visited the sites to personally verify the market value and area of properties held by individuals or their family members undergoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and to collect photographic evidence. Such inspections are typically conducted ahead of potential future property attachment proceedings.

The ED is currently investigating allegations that 'Exalogic Solutions', a company owned by Veena Vijayan, received ₹2.78 crore from a private mineral company, Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL), without rendering any actual services.

The ED intensified its probe under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act based on a chargesheet filed by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) in this case. As part of this ongoing investigation, Veena Vijayan was questioned for hours at the ED office in Kochi in June, and her bank lockers were also searched.

Prior to this, on May 27, 2026, the ED had conducted detailed raids at Pinarayi Vijayan's residences in Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram. At that time, the ED reported seizing bank deposit documents and digital evidence. Sources indicate that today's on-site inspection was intended to verify the accuracy of the land transactions discovered in those seized documents.

The ED team arrived today with the assistance of the Pathiriyad and Pinarayi Village Officers to collect precise details and photographs of the assets held in Veena Vijayan's name, in connection with the CMRL financial transaction case, to include them in the case diary.
