തിരുവനന്തപുരം : ആര്‍എസ്എസ് ശതാബ്ദിയോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് നടന്ന പരിപാടിയില്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ മൂന്ന് വൈസ് ചാന്‍സലര്‍മാര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തതിനെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി.ഡി. സതീശന്‍ കടുത്ത ഭാഷയില്‍ വിമര്‍ശിച്ചു. 

ആര്‍എസ്എസ് സര്‍സംഘചാലക് മോഹന്‍ ഭാഗവത് പങ്കെടുത്ത ആര്‍എസ്എസ് ശതാബ്ദി പ്രഭാഷണ പരമ്പരയിലാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ മൂന്ന് സര്‍വകലാശാലാ വൈസ് ചാന്‍സലര്‍മാര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. 

കേരള സര്‍വകലാശാല വി.സി ഡോ. മോഹന്‍ കുന്നുമ്മല്‍, എംജി സര്‍വകലാശാല വി.സി ഡോ. ഡി മാവൂത്, മലയാളം സര്‍വകലാശാല വിസിയുടെ ചുമതലയുള്ള ഡോ. സി ആര്‍ പ്രസാദ് എന്നിവരാണ് ആര്‍ എസ് എസ് പരിപാടിയില്‍ സംബന്ധിച്ചത്. 

ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തെ പരമോന്നത പദവിയിലിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ-വര്‍ഗീയ സംഘടനയുടെ പരിപാടിയില്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക പദവികള്‍ നിലനിര്‍ത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് പങ്കെടുത്തത് വലിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വഴിതെളിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.  

സര്‍വകലാശാലകളുടെ അന്തസ്സിനും ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തിന്റെ മതേതര പാരമ്പര്യത്തിനും വിരുദ്ധമായ പ്രവൃത്തിയാണ് വൈസ് ചാന്‍സലര്‍മാരുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഉണ്ടായതെന്ന് വി.ഡി. സതീശന്‍ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.  നിഷ്പക്ഷമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കേണ്ട ഉന്നത അക്കാദമിക് തലവന്മാര്‍ ഒരു തീവ്ര പ്രത്യയശാസ്ത്ര സംഘടനയുടെ പ്രചാരണ പരിപാടികളില്‍ ഭാഗമാകുന്നത് തങ്ങളുടെ പദവിക്ക് നിരക്കാത്ത ഗുരുതരമായ വീഴ്ചയാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.  

മതേതര മൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തിപ്പിടിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിന്റെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംസ്‌കാരത്തെയും ജനങ്ങളെയും അപമാനിക്കുന്നതാണ് വി.സിമാരുടെ ഈ നടപടി. അതിനാല്‍ അവര്‍ അടിയന്തരമായി കേരളത്തിലെ പൊതുസമൂഹത്തോട് ക്ഷമാപണം നടത്തണമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.  

സര്‍വകലാശാലകളെ രാഷ്ട്രീയവല്‍ക്കരിക്കാനും ആര്‍എസ്എസ് അജണ്ടകള്‍ ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മേഖലയിലേക്ക് തിരുകിക്കയറ്റാനും അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്നും, ഇത്തരം നടപടികള്‍ തുടര്‍ന്നാല്‍ ശക്തമായ പ്രതിരോധം നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കി.

The Vice-Chancellors of three universities in Kerala attended the RSS Centenary Lecture Series, which was also attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.

Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar (Note: The Malayalam text mentions "Dr. D Mavooth", but the current VC/pro-VC administration context aligns with academic leadership) / Dr. C.R. Prasad (In-charge VC, Malayalam University)

The participation of individuals holding the highest positions in the higher education sector in an event of a political-communal organization—while retaining their official positions—has triggered a massive political controversy.

Violation of Secular Tradition: V.D. Satheesan pointed out that the actions of the Vice-Chancellors go against the dignity of the universities and the secular tradition of the higher education sector.

Serious Official Lapse: He emphasized that it is a grave lapse unbecoming of their stature for top academic heads, who are expected to function impartially, to become part of the promotional events of an organization with a hardline ideology.

Insult to Kerala's Culture: This action by the VCs insults the people and the educational culture of Kerala, which upholds secular values. Therefore, the Chief Minister demanded that they immediately apologize to the public of Kerala.

A Warning Against Polticization: He warned that any attempts to politicize universities or smuggle RSS agendas into the higher education sector will not be tolerated, and if such actions continue, they will face fierce resistance.
