ബെംഗളൂരുവില്‍ ബൈക്ക് അപകടം: എറണാകുളം, കണ്ണൂര്‍ സ്വദേശികളായ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം

ബെംഗളൂരു : ബെംഗളൂരുവില്‍ ബൈക്ക് ഡിവൈഡറിലിടിച്ച് മറിഞ്ഞ് കെങ്കേരി ബിജിഎസ് നഴ്‌സിങ് കോളജിലെ രണ്ട് മലയാളി വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ മരിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം മുളന്തുരുത്തി പെരുമ്പള്ളി എരുമേലില്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ ഗീരിഷ്‌കുമാറിന്റെ മകന്‍ ഗൗരീശങ്കര്‍ (22), കണ്ണൂര്‍ ശ്രീകണ്ഠാപുരം സ്വദേശി അതുല്‍ (22) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

മൈസൂരുവില്‍നിന്ന് ബൈക്കില്‍ ബെംഗളൂരുവിലേക്ക് വരികയായിരുന്നു ഇരുവരും. കെങ്കേരി രാജരാജേശ്വരി ഡെന്റല്‍ കോളജിന് സമീപത്ത് എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ഇരുടെ ബൈക്ക് നിയന്ത്രണംവിട്ട് റോഡിലെ ഡിവൈഡറില്‍ ഇടിച്ച് മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു.

കെങ്കേരി ബിജിഎസ് നഴ്‌സിങ് കോളജിലെ ബിഎസ്സി നഴ്‌സിങ് നാലാം വര്‍ഷ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളാണ്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ രാജരാജേശ്വരി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രി മോര്‍ച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ നാട്ടിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചുവരുന്നതായി കോളേജ് അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

Summary: Bengaluru: Two Malayali students from Kengeri BGS Nursing College died after their bike lost control and crashed into a road divider in Bengaluru.

The deceased have been identified as Gaurishankar (22), son of Girishkumar, residing at Erumelil House, Perumpally, Mulanthuruthy, Ernakulam; and Athul (22), a native of Sreekandapuram, Kannur.

The duo was travelling from Mysuru to Bengaluru on a motorcycle. When they reached near the Rajarajeswari Dental College in Kengeri, their bike lost control and crashed into the road divider, causing it to overturn.

Both were fourth-year BSc Nursing students at Kengeri BGS Nursing College. The bodies have been moved to the Rajarajeswari Medical College Hospital mortuary. College authorities informed that procedures are underway to transport the bodies back to their hometowns.
