കള്ളുഷാപ്പില്‍ വിദേശമദ്യം കുടിക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിച്ചില്ല, പാലക്കാട്ട് ഷാപ്പ് ജീവനക്കാരനെ യുവാവ് മര്‍ദ്ദിച്ചു കൊന്നു

In the Kozhinjampara area of Palakkad district, a temporary toddy shop employee was beaten to death by a young man for not allowing to consume IMFL

പാലക്കാട് : പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ കൊഴിഞ്ഞാമ്പാറയില്‍ കള്ളുഷാപ്പില്‍ വച്ച് വിദേശമദ്യം കുടിക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കാത്തതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് താല്‍ക്കാലിക ജീവനക്കാരനെ യുവാവ് മര്‍ദിച്ച് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി.

എന്‍. രമേഷ് (50) ആണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയില്‍ വിദേശമദ്യവുമായി ഷാപ്പിലെത്തിയ ചള്ളപ്പാത സ്വദേശി എം. ഷാഹുല്‍ ഹമീദ് (38) ആണ് രമേഷിനെ മര്‍ദ്ദിച്ചു കൊന്നത്.

കള്ളുഷാപ്പില്‍ വച്ച് വിദേശമദ്യം കുടിക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ലെന്നു രമേഷ് പറഞ്ഞത് ഷാഹുല്‍ ഹമീദിന് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടില്ല. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഇരുവരും തമ്മില്‍ വാക്കേറ്റമുണ്ടായി. രാത്രിയില്‍ രമേഷ് കള്ളുഷാപ്പ് പൂട്ടിപ്പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഷാഹുല്‍ ഹമീദ് വഴിയില്‍ തടഞ്ഞുനിറുത്തി മര്‍ദ്ദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നു പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

ഷാഹുല്‍ ഹമീദിനെ (38) പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നു രാവിലെയാണ് പ്രദേശവാസികള്‍ രമേഷിനെ റോഡരികില്‍ മരിച്ച നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

പോസ്റ്റ്മോര്‍ട്ടം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് അനുസരിച്ച്, ആന്തരിക രക്തസ്രാവമാണ് മരണകാരണം. മര്‍ദനത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നിലത്തുവീണ രമേഷിന്റെ നെഞ്ചില്‍ ചവിട്ടിയതാകാം രക്തസ്രാവത്തിന് കാരണമായതെന്നാണ് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരുടെ നിഗമനം.

Summary:  In the Kozhinjampara area of Palakkad district, a temporary toddy shop employee was beaten to death by a young man for not allowing him to consume foreign liquor inside the toddy shop.

The deceased is N. Ramesh (50). M. Shahul Hameed (38), a resident of Challapatha, who arrived at the shop last night with foreign liquor, is the one who beat Ramesh to death.

Shahul Hameed did not like it when Ramesh informed him that foreign liquor was not permitted to be consumed inside the toddy shop. A verbal altercation followed between the two. The police stated that as Ramesh was leaving after closing the toddy shop at night, Shahul Hameed intercepted him on the road and assaulted him.

Shahul Hameed (38) has been arrested by the police. Local residents found Ramesh's body lying on the roadside this morning.

According to the post-mortem report, the cause of death was internal bleeding. Doctors have concluded that the internal bleeding was likely caused by the accused stomping on Ramesh's chest after he fell to the ground following the assault.
