ഇത്രയും മെഗാ താരങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു സിനിമയില്‍ ഒരുമിച്ച് അഭിനയിക്കുക സങ്കല്പിക്കാനാവാത്ത കാര്യമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍, അവരെല്ലാം ഒരുമിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഷോര്‍ട്ട് ഫിലിം യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു. ഫാമിലി എന്ന ഹ്രസ്വചിത്രത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ താരങ്ങളും അവരവരുടെ വീടുകളിലിരുന്നാണ് അഭിനയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്!

ചിത്രം നിര്‍മിക്കാനുള്ള കാരണം ഒടുവില്‍ അമിതാഭ് ബച്ചന്‍ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സിനിമ ഒരു കുടുംബമാണെന്നും അതിലെ  ദിവസക്കൂലിക്കാരായ പലരും  കൊറോണക്കാലത്ത് കടുത്ത പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലാണെന്നും അവരെ സഹായിക്കാനായി സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍ഷിപ്പിലൂടെ ചിത്രം ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ബച്ചന്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ചിത്രത്തില്‍ നിന്നു കിട്ടുന്ന വരുമാനം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സിനിമയിലെ ദിവസക്കൂലിക്കാരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുമെന്നു ബച്ചന്‍ അടിവരയിട്ടു പറയുന്നു.

It is unimaginable that so many mega stars will be cast together in a movie. But a short film that brings them all together has become a reality. In the short film 'Family', all the actors were cast in their homes!

The film was directed by Prasun Pandey by siting in his office. The picture conveys the message of being at home during Lockdown.

The movie is about Bachchan Uncle's eyeglasses disappearing and others looking for him. The sequences are beautifully integrated into the picture. Mammootty and Mohanlal are speaking in Malayalam.

Amitabh Bachchan has finally stated his reason for making the film. Bachchan says that Indian cinema is a family, and many of its daily wage workers are in crisis due to coronavirus spread.

Bachchan emphasized that the proceeds from the film will be used for the welfare of the daily wage workers of Indian film industry.
