ലണ്ടന്‍ : കൊറോണ വൈറസ് ബാധിതനായി അതിഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ബോറിസ് ജോണ്‍സണെ  ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഡിസ്ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്തു.

55 കാരനായ ജോണ്‍സണെ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഞായറാഴ്ചയാണ് ലണ്ടനിലെ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. വൈറസ് പോസിറ്റീവാണെന്നു സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു പത്തു ദിവസത്തിനുശേഷമാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ഗുരുതരനിലയിലായത്.

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ ഡിസ്ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്‌തെന്നു ഡൗണിംഗ് സ്ട്രീറ്റ് വക്താവ് പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഉടന്‍ ജോലിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കില്ല. മെഡിക്കല്‍ സംഘത്തിന്റെ ഉപദേശപ്രകാരമേ അദ്ദേഹം ജോലിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കില്ല. തനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ച മികച്ച പരിചരണത്തിന് സെന്റ് തോമസിലെ എല്ലാവരോടും നന്ദി പറയാന്‍ ജോണ്‍സണ്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് ആഭ്യന്തര സെക്രട്ടറി പ്രീതി പട്ടേല്‍ വക്താവ് പറഞ്ഞു.

മൂന്നു ദിവസം അദ്ദേഹം തീവ്രപരിചരണത്തിലായിരുന്നു. രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുമ്പ് കൊറോണ വൈറസ് പോസിറ്റീവായതിനു ശേഷം സ്വയം ക്വാറന്റൈനിലേക്ക് പോയതിന് ശേഷം ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഗെറ്റ്-വെല്‍ കാര്‍ഡുകളാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കിട്ടിയത്.


Summary: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after being in critical condition with a coronavirus.

Johnson, 55, was taken to St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday. Ten days after he was diagnosed with the virus, he was in critical condition. A Downing Street spokesman said the prime minister was discharged.

The Prime Minister will not be working soon. He will work on the advice of the medical team. Johnson would like to thank everyone in St. Thomas for the excellent care he received, Home Secretary Prethy Patel said.

He was in intensive care for three days. He received thousands of get-well cards after the Corona virus went viral two weeks ago and went to Quarantine himself.
