തുടര്‍ന്ന് കാറിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഷെറോഫിന് നേരെ ഏഴ് തവണ വെടിയുതിര്‍ത്ത അക്രമികള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വെടിയുതിര്‍ക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും തോക്ക് ജാമാവുകയായിരുന്നു. നടനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഡ്രൈവര്‍ക്കും പരിക്കേറ്റെങ്കിലും അവര്‍ അവിടെനിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞു.

ഹരിയാനയിലെ പാനിപ്പത്ത് ജില്ലക്കാരനായ പണ്ഡിറ്റ്, യുഎസില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു ശൃംഖല പ്രവര്‍ത്തിപ്പിക്കുകയും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കണ്ണികളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് പോലീസ് വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

പഞ്ചാബി ഗായകന്‍ ഗുരു രന്ധവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പശ്ചിമ വിഹാറിലെ ജിമ്മിന് പുറത്തുള്ള വെടിവെപ്പ് ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നടന്ന നിരവധി കേസുകളില്‍ പണ്ഡിറ്റിന്റെ പങ്ക് ഡല്‍ഹി പോലീസ് അന്വേഷിച്ചുവരുന്നുണ്ട്.

ആക്രമണം നടത്തുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഷൂട്ടര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് മുന്‍കൂര്‍ 50,000 രൂപ നല്‍കിയിരുന്നതായും, ആക്രമണത്തിന് ശേഷം കൂടുതല്‍ പണവും വിദേശത്ത് ജോലിയും വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നതായും വ്യക്തമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. വെടിയുതിര്‍ത്ത ശേഷം ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ വിജയകരമായി പൂര്‍ത്തിയായതായി അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹാന്‍ഡ്‌ലര്‍മാരെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

ഡല്‍ഹി-എന്‍സിആര്‍ മേഖലയില്‍ സജീവമായ ഷൂടര്‍മാരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കാനും പണ്ഡിറ്റിന്റെ ശൃംഖലയുമായി അവര്‍ക്കുള്ള ബന്ധം പരിശോധിക്കാനും ഡല്‍ഹി പോലീസിന്റെ സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ സെല്ലും രംഗത്തുണ്ട്. കേസിലെ വിവിധ വശങ്ങള്‍ അന്വേഷിക്കാന്‍ പത്തോളം സംഘങ്ങളെ നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

A surprising turn of events has emerged in the case regarding the assassination attempt on actor Tiger Shroff. Reports reveal that the actor was not the original target of the shooters; another superstar was their actual objective.

On Sunday evening, after returning from a football match in Juhu, three individuals—Hrithik alias Roshan (22) from Bihar, Raihan (18), and Phool Singh (18) from Haryana—fired multiple shots at Shroff's car. The three were apprehended by the Kota Police in Rajasthan and handed over to the Mumbai Police.

Police stated that questioning the three revealed they had arrived in Mumbai with the intention of assassinating another prominent personality.

"After observing the places this individual frequently visited, the shooters realized it was impossible to get close to him. Following that, noticing through reels posted by fans that the actor had no police security, they shifted their target to Tiger Shroff," an officer said.

Consequently, the mission was shifted to Tiger Shroff. Realizing through Instagram pages and fan posts that Tiger visits the Juhu football ground every Sunday and has relatively low security, they targeted him. The accused thought that because he was someone who moved around public places with minimal security, Shroff could be easily targeted.

The shooters testified that their goal was to assassinate Shroff and spread fear throughout Bollywood.

Subsequently, the attackers fired seven rounds at Shroff, who was inside the car. Though they tried to fire more rounds, the gun jammed. The actor and his driver sustained injuries, but they managed to escape from the spot.

Hours after the shooting, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility, clarifying that Shroff was targeted because he failed to heed their demands to sever ties with actor Salman Khan.

In an audio clip released after the attack, a gang member claimed, "I am Anil Pandit. I am like a real younger brother to Lawrence Bishnoi. Today, we take responsibility for what happened to Tiger Shroff." The speaker also stated that despite giving Shroff "counseling, he did not understand us."

"If anyone in the film industry fails to get along with us or works with Salman Khan, they will be killed. This is a final warning," Pandit said.

Gangster Anil Pandit, suspected to be operating from the United States, has become a prime accused in this case. Police are investigating his involvement in over a dozen cases and targeted attacks in Delhi and Haryana, as well as possible links to similar incidents in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Police sources stated that Pandit, a native of Panipat district in Haryana, operates a network from the US and coordinates with local operatives in India.

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police is also investigating Pandit's involvement in several cases in Delhi, including a shooting outside a gym in Punjabi Bagh linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.

It has also been revealed that the shooters were given an advance of Rs 50,000 prior to the attack, with promises of more money and jobs abroad following the incident. After firing the shots, they had informed their handlers that the operation was successfully completed.

Sources indicate that about ten teams have been deployed to gather information on shooters active in the Delhi-NCR region and to examine their connections with Pandit's network.
