കൊച്ചിയില്‍ വീണ്ടും അമിത വേഗ അപകടം: ജഡ്ജിയുടെ പ്രാപൂര്‍ത്തിയെത്താത്ത മകന്‍ ഓടിച്ച കാറിടിച്ച് സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ യാത്രികന് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം

കൊച്ചി: ചേരാനല്ലൂരില്‍ അഡിഷണല്‍ ജഡ്ജിയുടെ പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയാകാത്ത മകന്‍ അമിത വേഗത്തില്‍ ഓടിച്ച കാറിടിച്ച് സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ യാത്രികന്‍ മരിച്ചു. വെളുപ്പിന് മൂന്നു മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. മാഞ്ഞാലി സ്വദേശി ജയബാലകൃഷ്ണനാണ് മരിച്ചത്. എയര്‍ പോര്‍ട്ട് റോഡില്‍ യുവാവ് അമിത വേഗത്തില്‍ ഓടിച്ച കാറിടിച്ചു മൂന്നു പേര്‍ മരിച്ച ദുരന്തത്തിനു പിന്നാലെയാണ് ജഡ്ജിയുടെ പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയെത്താത്ത മകന്‍ തന്നെ വന്‍ അപകടമുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

സംഭവവത്തില്‍ അഡിഷണല്‍ ജഡ്ജിയുടെ മകനായ പതിനേഴുകാരനെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. അപകടത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇരിങ്ങാലക്കുട കോടതിയിലെ അഡിഷണല്‍ ജഡ്ജി റിനോ ഫ്രാന്‍സിസിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ബന്‍സ് കാര്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ജയബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്‌കൂട്ടറിന് പിന്നില്‍ കാര്‍ ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ബെന്‍സ് കാര്‍  ജഡ്ജിയുടെ പേരില്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്. 

അപകടത്തിനു ശേഷം ജഡ്ജിയെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ വളരെ അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെയാണ് സംസാരിച്ചതെന്ന് ജയബാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ബന്ധുവായ ജയലക്ഷ്മി മാധ്യമങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. 17കാരന് വണ്ടി കൊടുക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ലെന്ന് അറിയില്ലേയെന്നു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള്‍, നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാന്‍ വരണ്ട, അത്രയ്ക്ക് നിങ്ങള്‍ ആയിട്ടില്ലെന്നായിരുന്നു ജഡ്ജി പറഞ്ഞത്. ഒരു ജീവന്‍ പൊലിഞ്ഞത് പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയാകാത്ത മകന് കാര്‍ കൊടുത്തുവിട്ടതുകൊണ്ടാണെന്ന ബോധം നീതിന്യായ വ്യവസ്ഥ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നയാള്‍ക്കില്ലെന്നും മരിച്ച വ്യക്തിയോടു സഹതാപം കാണിക്കാന്‍ പോലും മനസ്സുണ്ടായില്ലെന്നും ജയലക്ഷ്മി പറഞ്ഞു.

അപകട ശേഷം ഓടി രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ 17 കാരന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും നാട്ടുകാര്‍ തടഞ്ഞുവച്ചു പൊലീസിനു കൈമാറുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നു ദൃക്‌സാക്ഷികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.  കുട്ടി മദ്യപിച്ചിരുന്നില്ലെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്. മറ്റ് ലഹരികള്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നോ എന്നറിയാന്‍ രക്തസാമ്പിള്‍ ശേഖരിച്ചതായും പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.

തട്ടുകടയിലെ ജോലി കഴിഞ്ഞു വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോവുകയായിരുന്നു ജയബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍. മഴ സമയത്ത് അമിതവേഗത്തിലെത്തിയ കാര്‍ സ്‌കൂട്ടറിനു പിന്നില്‍ ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും തകരുകയും ജയബലാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ റോഡിലേക്കു തെറിച്ചുവീണ് തലയിടിച്ചു മരിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തില്‍ സ്‌കൂട്ടറില്‍ വച്ചിരുന്ന അരിയും മറ്റും വളരെ ദൂരേയ്ക്കു ചിതറി വീണു. 

ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ ചേരാനല്ലൂര്‍ പൊലീസ് സംഭവ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്ന് കാര്‍ മാറ്റിയതും വിവാമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജയബാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ ഇതില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 

ബിഎന്‍എസ്  281, 106 (1)  വകുപ്പുകളാണ് 17കാരനെതിരേ ചുമത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ണന്നുമാണ് പൊലീസ് നല്‍കുന്ന വിവരം. പൊലീസ് ഇയാള്‍ക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുത്ത് തുടര്‍നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എഫ്.ഐ.ആര്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തുവെന്നും പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയാകാത്ത കുട്ടി വാഹനമോടിച്ചതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കര്‍ശന നിയമനടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

In Cheranalloor, a scooterist was killed after being hit by a speeding car driven by the underage son of an additional judge. The accident occurred around 3:00 AM. The victim has been identified as Jayabalakrishnan, a native of Manjali. This tragedy—where a judge's minor son caused a fatal accident—comes right on the heels of another disaster on the Airport Road, where three people died after a car was driven at excessive speeds by a youth.

Police have taken the 17-year-old son of the additional judge into custody in connection with the incident. An investigation into the accident has been initiated by the police.

The accident took place when the car crashed into the rear of the scooter being ridden by Jayabalakrishnan. The Mercedes-Benz car is registered in the judge's name.

Jayabalakrishnan was returning home after finishing his shift at a roadside eatery (thattukada). Amidst the rain, the speeding car rammed into the back of his scooter from behind. The scooter was completely mangled, and Jayabalakrishnan was thrown onto the road, hitting his head, which led to his instantaneous death. Due to the impact of the crash, the rice and other items he was carrying on the scooter were scattered far away.

The Cheranalloor police removing the car from the accident site immediately has also sparked controversy. Relatives of Jayabalakrishnan protested this action. Furthermore, Jayabalakrishnan's relatives told the media that when they contacted the additional judge, he spoke to them rudely and snapped at them.

According to the police, sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) have been invoked against the 17-year-old. The police have registered a case and initiated further legal proceedings. They stated that an FIR has been registered and that strict legal action will be taken regarding a minor driving a vehicle.
