കോഴിക്കോട് : പേരാമ്പ്രയില്‍ യുവതിയെ മദ്യവും ലഹരിയും നല്‍കി കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്ത കേസില്‍ നാല് പ്രതികളെയും പൊലീസ് മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ക്കകം അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.

ജാസിഫ് (39)  വെള്ളിയൂര്‍ വലിയപറമ്പ്, സാക്കിര്‍ ഹുസൈന്‍ (49)  കരുവണ്ണൂര്‍ ചമ്പോളി,  റജീഷ് (40)  നടുവണ്ണൂര്‍ കളയംകുളത്ത്, അഭിലാഷ് (46)  നടുവണ്ണൂര്‍ താനിപ്പറ്റ എന്നിവരാണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്. 

യുവതിയെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി വിവിധ ലോഡ്ജുകളിലും വീടുകളിലും എത്തിച്ച് മദ്യവും ലഹരിവസ്തുക്കളും നല്‍കിയാണ് പ്രതികള്‍ പീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയത്. പ്രതികളില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ യുവതിയുടെ ബന്ധുവാണ്. പീഡനത്തിന് ഒത്താശ ചെയ്തുകൊടുത്തതിന് ഇയാള്‍ പണം കൈപ്പറ്റിയതായി പരാതിയില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

പീഡനദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ പ്രതികള്‍ മൊബൈലില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തി ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയതിനാലാണ് യുവതി വിവരം പുറത്തുപറയാന്‍ വൈകിയത്. പ്രതിയായ റജീഷ് മുന്‍പ് കാപ്പ നിയമപ്രകാരം നാടുകടത്തപ്പെട്ടയാളാണ്. പിതാവിനെ തന്നെ മര്‍ദിച്ച് വാരിയെല്ല് തകര്‍ത്ത കേസിലും ഇയാള്‍ പ്രതിയാണ്.

കാപ്പാട്, ആഴ്ചവട്ടം, കരുവണ്ണൂര്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു രാത്രി നീണ്ട തിരച്ചിലിനൊടുവിലാണ് പേരാമ്പ്ര പൊലീസ് പ്രതികളെ പിടികൂടിയത്. കേസില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പേര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് പേരാമ്പ്ര എഎസ്പി പി. ആരതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചുവരികയാണ്.

The police have arrested four suspects within hours in connection with the gang rape of a woman in Perambra after forcibly feeding her alcohol and drugs.

,The arrested individuals have been identified as:

Jasif (39) – Valiyaparambu, Velliyoor

Sakir Hussain (49) – Chamboli, Karuvannur

Rajesh (40) – Kalayamkulath, Naduvannur

Abhilash (46) – Thanippatta, Naduvannur

The accused blackmailed the victim, took her to various lodges and houses, and assaulted her after administering alcohol and narcotics. One of the suspects is a relative of the woman. According to the victim's complaint, this relative accepted money for aiding and abetting the crime.

The victim delayed reporting the incident because the perpetrators filmed the assault on a mobile phone and used the footage to threaten her. Among the accused, Rajesh was previously deported under the KAAPA Act (Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act) and is also an accused in a case involving the assault of his own father, which resulted in broken ribs.

The Perambra police apprehended all four suspects following an overnight search across Kappad, Azchavattam, and Karuvannur. An investigation led by Perambra ASP P. Arathi is currently underway to determine if more people are involved in the crime.
