കൊല്ലം : അഞ്ചലില്‍ ഏഴാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനി പാഠഭാഗം വായിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ തെറ്റിയതിന് പാരലല്‍ കോളേജ് അദ്ധ്യാപകന്‍ ക്രൂരമായി മര്‍ദിച്ചു.

കൊല്ലം അഞ്ചല്‍ കരുകോണ്‍ ഹയര്‍ സെക്കന്‍ഡറി സ്‌കൂളിന് സമീപമുള്ള ട്യൂട്ടോറിയല്‍ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ അധ്യാപകനായ സുഫിയാനാണ് കുട്ടിയെ മര്‍ദ്ദിച്ചത്. കരുകോണ്‍ റിയാസ്-റെജീന ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളും ഏഴാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനിയുമായ റിക്‌സ്വാനയെയാണ് അടിച്ചു കാല്‍ പൊട്ടിച്ചത്.

ട്യൂഷന്‍ ക്ലാസിനിടെ പുസ്തകം വായിക്കാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ ചില വാക്കുകള്‍ തെറ്റിയതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് അധ്യാപകന്‍ കുട്ടിയെ ഇരുകാലുകളിലും ക്രൂരമായി അടിച്ചുപൊട്ടിച്ചത്.

വൈകിട്ട് ട്യൂഷന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ് വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ കുട്ടി കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് മാതാപിതാക്കളോട് വിവരം പറയുകയായിരുന്നു. പരിശോധിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് കാലുകളില്‍ അടിയേറ്റ ഗുരുതരമായ പാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടത്.

തുടര്‍ന്ന്, മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ അധ്യാപകനെ വിളിച്ച് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ 'പൊലീസില്‍ പരാതി കൊടുക്ക്' എന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് ഇയാള്‍ മറുപടി നല്‍കിയത്. കുട്ടിയെ അഞ്ചലിലെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ മൊഴിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ അഞ്ചല്‍ പൊലീസ് സുഫിയാനെതിരെ കേസെടുത്തു. അന്വേഷണം പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ, ഇതേ ക്ലാസിലെ മറ്റൊരു കുട്ടിക്കും ക്രൂരമായി അടിയേറ്റതായി പുതിയ പരാതി ലഭിച്ചു. കേസ് എടുത്തതോടെ പ്രതിയായ സുഫിയാന്‍ ഒളിവിലാണ്. ഇയാള്‍ക്കായി അഞ്ചല്‍ പൊലീസ് തിരച്ചില്‍ ഊര്‍ജിതമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

A parallel college teacher brutally assaulted a seventh-grade student in Anchal after she made mistakes while reading a lesson.

Sufiyan, an instructor at a tutorial center near Karukone Higher Secondary School in Anchal, Kollam, allegedly beat the child. The victim has been identified as Rixwana, a seventh-grade student and the daughter of Karukone residents Riyas and Rejeena.

During the tuition class, when the teacher asked her to read from a textbook, she mispronounced a few words. Enraged by this, the teacher severely struck both of her legs.

Upon returning home in the evening, the child burst into tears and recounted the incident to her parents. It was only after checking her legs that they discovered severe, visible injuries and marks from the beatings.

When the parents subsequently called the teacher to question his actions, he reportedly responded in a threatening manner, telling them to "go report it to the police." The child was promptly admitted to a hospital in Anchal for treatment.

Based on the family's statement, the Anchal police have registered a case against Sufiyan. As the investigation progressed, a new complaint emerged stating that another student from the same class had also suffered a similar brutal beating. Following the filing of the police cases, the suspect, Sufiyan, went into hiding. The Anchal police have launched an intensive search to track him down.
