തൃശൂര്‍: കുന്നംകുളം ആര്‍ത്താറ്റിന് സമീപം കുറുക്കന്‍പാറ സെന്ററില്‍ നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ടെത്തിയ കാര്‍ ബൈക്കിലിടിച്ച് ചാവക്കാട് എടക്കഴിയൂര്‍ സ്വദേശികളായ മുനീര്‍ (35), ഭാര്യ സഫ്‌ന (25), ഇവരുടെ മൂന്ന് വയസ്സുകാരനായ മകന്‍ എമില്‍ ഐബക്ക് എന്നിവര്‍ മരിച്ചു.

ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 11:40 നായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. വിവാഹച്ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത് മടങ്ങവേ, ഫോണ്‍ വിളിക്കാനായി റോഡരികില്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടിരുന്ന ഇവരുടെ ബൈക്കിലേക്ക് അമിതവേഗത്തില്‍ വന്ന കാര്‍ ഇടിച്ചുകയറുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തില്‍ മൂവരും ദൂരേക്ക് തെറിച്ചുവീഴുകയും ബൈക്ക് സമീപത്തെ വൈദ്യുത പോസ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ഇടിച്ചുകയറുകയും ചെയ്തു. 

ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ സമീപത്തെ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും മൂവരുടെയും ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. കാര്‍ ഡ്രൈവര്‍ മദ്യപിച്ചിരുന്നതായി ദൃക്സാക്ഷികള്‍ ആരോപിച്ചു. അപകടത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ഡ്രൈവറും യാത്രക്കാരും സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്ന് കടന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. കുന്നംകുളം പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

തൃശ്ശൂരില്‍ വീണ്ടും വാഹനാപകടം. കുന്നംകുളം ആര്‍ത്താറ്റുണ്ടായ വാഹനാപകടത്തില്‍ മൂന്ന് വയസ്സുള്ള കുട്ടി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ മൂന്നുപേര്‍ മരിച്ചു.

തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ കയ്പമംഗലത്തുണ്ടായ വാഹനാപകടത്തില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം തമിഴ്‌നാട് സ്വദേശികളായ എട്ടുപേര്‍ മരിച്ചിരുന്നു. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി കയ്പമംഗലം ദേശീയപാതയിലാണ് നിര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടിരുന്ന ലോറിയിലേക്ക് കാര്‍ ഇടിച്ചുകയറി അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. അപകടത്തില്‍ മരിച്ചവരെല്ലാം തമിഴ്‌നാട് ദിണ്ടിഗലിലെ സ്വകാര്യ എന്‍ജിനീയറിങ് കോളേജ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളായിരുന്നു. ഈ അപകടത്തിന്റെ നടുക്കം മാറുംമുന്‍പേയാണ് തൃശൂരില്‍ വാഹനാപകടത്തില്‍ മൂന്നുപേരുടെ ജീവന്‍ കൂടി പൊലിഞ്ഞത്.

A young couple and their three-year-old son were killed after an out-of-control car hit their motorcycle at Kurukkanpara Centre near Arthat in Kunnamkulam. The deceased have been identified as Muneer (35), a native of Edakkazhiyur, Chavakkad, his wife Safna (25), and their three-year-old son, Emil Aibak.

The incident occurred on Saturday night at around 11:40 PM. Returning from a wedding function, Muneer had pulled over to the roadside to make a phone call when a speeding car crashed into their parked motorcycle. The impact threw all three off the bike to a distance, while the motorcycle slammed into a nearby electric pole.

Though they were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals, none of their lives could be saved. Eyewitnesses alleged that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol. Following the accident, the driver and other occupants of the car fled the scene. Kunnamkulam police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Yet another road accident in Thrissur. Three people, including a three-year-old child, died in the road crash at Arthat, Kunnamkulam.

Just days prior, eight people from Tamil Nadu were killed in a road accident at Kaipamangalam in Thrissur. That crash occurred on Friday night along the Kaipamangalam National Highway when a car rammed into a parked lorry. All the deceased were engineering college students from Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Before the shock of that tragic accident could subside, three more lives were lost in this latest crash in Thrissur.
