കൊച്ചി: നിവിന് പോളിയും മമിത ബൈജുവും കേന്ദ്രകഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച് ഗിരീഷ് എ.ഡി. സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത 'ബെത്ലഹേം കുടുംബ യൂണിറ്റ്' തിയേറ്ററുകളില് റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത് ചുരുങ്ങിയ ദിവസങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളില് തന്നെ ആഗോള തലത്തില് 250 കോടിയിലധികം രൂപ നേടിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു (18 ദിവസങ്ങള് കൊണ്ട് ഏകദേശം 273 കോടി രൂപ കളക്ട് ചെയ്തു). വൈകാതെ ചിത്രം 300 കോടി ക്ളബില് എത്തുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലാണ് പിന്നണി പ്രവര്ത്തകര്.
മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തില് അതിവേഗം 250 കോടി ക്ലബ്ബില് ഇടംപിടിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ ചിത്രമായി ഇത് മാറി. കേരളത്തില് നിന്ന് മാത്രം 120 കോടിയിലധികം രൂപ ചിത്രം നേടുകയും, കേരള ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്ന്ന കളക്ഷന് നേടുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ ചിത്രമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു.
നിവിന് പോളിയുടെ കരിയറിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ 250 കോടി കളക്ഷന് ചിത്രമാണിത്. ഇന്ത്യക്ക് പുറത്തും മികച്ച പ്രതികരണമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. വിദേശ വിപണിയില് നിന്ന് മാത്രം 120 കോടിയിലധികം രൂപ ചിത്രം നേടി.
