തിരുവനന്തപുരം: വെങ്ങാനൂരില്‍ ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കാറിനു തീപിടിച്ചു മരിച്ചത് കോട്ടയം തെള്ളകം സ്വദേശി ടൈറ്റസ് കുര്യനാണെന്നു കണ്ടെത്തി. വിമുക്ത ഭടനായ ഇദ്ദേഹം വീട്ടുകാരുമായി പിണങ്ങിയാണ് കാറുമായി ഇറങ്ങിയതെന്നും സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 

തിരുവനന്തപുരം, വെങ്ങാനൂരിലെ അയ്യങ്കാളി പ്രതിമയ്ക്ക് സമീപം പുലര്‍ച്ചെ ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കാറിന് പെട്ടെന്ന് തീപിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. റെനോ ക്വിഡ് കാറാണ് തീപിടിച്ച് പൂര്‍ണമായി നശിച്ചത്. 

വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ് ഉടന്‍തന്നെ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്സ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരാണ് തീയണച്ചത്.

The moving car suddenly caught fire in the early hours of the morning near the Ayyankali statue in Venganoor, Thiruvananthapuram. The Renault Kwid car was completely destroyed in the fire.

Fire force personnel rushed to the spot upon receiving information and extinguished the blaze.
