The website 'War and Military News' suggests that the Globemaster's arrival could be linked to an upcoming visit by US special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to Moscow for the next round of talks on the Ukraine war.

The last direct flight by a US jet to Russia took place in January this year, when Kushner—Trump's son-in-law—and Witkoff visited Moscow for peace talks with Vladimir Putin.
