ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: ഡല്ഹിയില് ഓടുന്ന സ്ലീപ്പര് ബസ്സില് 16 വയസ്സുള്ള ഉത്തര്പ്രദേശ് സ്വദേശിയായ വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥിനി കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗത്തിനിരയായി. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ബസ് ഡ്രൈവര് കുല്ദീപ്, കണ്ടക്ടര് സന്ദീപ് എന്നിവരെ ഡല്ഹി പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
യുപിയിലെ മൈന്പുരി ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള പ്ലസ് വണ് വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥിനിയാണ് ആക്രമണത്തിന് ഇരയായത്. കുടുംബവുമായുള്ള അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസത്തെ തുടര്ന്ന് ആരോടും പറയാതെ ഇറങ്ങിത്തിരിച്ച പെണ്കുട്ടി നോയിഡയിലുള്ള ബന്ധുവിന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പോകുകയായിരുന്നു.
കനത്ത മഴയും ഇരുട്ടും കാരണം വഴിതെറ്റി ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 4-ന് രാത്രി പെണ്കുട്ടി അബദ്ധത്തില് പാരി ചൗക്കില് ഇറങ്ങി. ഈ സമയം അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണികള്ക്ക് ശേഷം സൂരജ്പൂരിലെ വര്ക്ക്ഷോപ്പില് നിന്ന് തിമാര്പൂരിലെ പാര്ക്കിംഗ് ഏരിയയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്ന ഒഴിഞ്ഞ സ്ലീപ്പര് ബസ് ആ വഴി വരികയും, മഴയില് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടുപോയ പെണ്കുട്ടി സഹായത്തിനായി ബസ്സിന് കൈ കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
നോയിഡ സെക്ടര്-63 ലേക്ക് പോവുകയാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ ബസ്സില് കയറ്റിയ ഉടന് തന്നെ കണ്ടക്ടര് അശ്ലീലമായി പെരുമാറാന് തുടങ്ങി. തുടരെ ഡ്രൈവറും കണ്ടക്ടറും ചേര്ന്ന് വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥിനിയെ കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എതിര്ത്തപ്പോള് കൊല്ലുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
സ്ലീപ്പര് ബസ്സിലെ ജനലുകളില് കര്ട്ടനുകള് വലിച്ചിട്ടിരുന്നതിനാല് 47 കിലോമീറ്ററോളം സഞ്ചരിച്ച യാത്രയില, അര്ദ്ധരാത്രിയോടെ കശ്മീരി ഗേറ്റ് ബസ് ടെര്മിനലിന് സമീപമുള്ള റിംഗ് റോഡില് പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ തള്ളിയിട്ട ശേഷം പ്രതികള് കടന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
ഭയന്നുപോയ പെണ്കുട്ടി കശ്മീരി ഗേറ്റ് പോലീസിനെ സമീപിച്ചു നല്കിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ച പോലീസ് തിമര്പൂരിലെ ബസ് പാര്ക്കിംഗ് ഏരിയയില് നിന്ന് രണ്ട് പ്രതികളെയും അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. കുറ്റകൃത്യത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിച്ച സ്ലീപ്പര് ബസ് പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുക്കുകയും ഫോറന്സിക് പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംഭവത്തില് വിശദമായ തുടര് അന്വേഷണം നടന്നു വരികയാണ്.

A 16-year-old student from Uttar Pradesh was gang-raped inside a moving sleeper bus in Delhi. The Delhi Police have arrested the bus driver, Kuldeep, and the conductor, Sandeep, in connection with the incident.
The victim is a Class 11 student hailing from Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district. Following a dispute with her family, she left home without informing anyone to visit a relative in Noida. Due to heavy rain and darkness, she lost her way and accidentally got off at Pari Chowk on the night of August 4. At that time, an empty sleeper bus—returning to a parking area in Timarpur after repairs at a workshop in Surajpur—passed by. Stranded in the rain, the girl signaled the bus for help.
After assuring her that they were headed towards Noida Sector-63, the driver and conductor let her onboard. Shortly after she entered, the conductor began behaving indecently. Subsequently, both the driver and the conductor gang-raped the student and threatened to kill her if she resisted. Since the sleeper bus windows were covered with curtains, no one outside could see what was happening inside during the 47-kilometer journey. Around midnight, the accused pushed the girl out near the Ring Road close to the Kashmiri Gate bus terminal and fled.
Frightened, the girl approached the Kashmiri Gate police and lodged a complaint. Based on her statement, the police launched an investigation and arrested both accused from the Timarpur bus parking area. The sleeper bus used in the crime has been taken into police custody and sent for forensic examination. A detailed further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
