POCSO Accused in Telangana Flees After Murdering Wife, Children, Complainant, Her Mother, and Grandmother

പ്രതിയായ രാജ്കുമാര് (35) വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി ഷാബാദിലെ താമസസ്ഥലത്തുവച്ച് 30 വയസ്സുകാരിയായ ഭാര്യ പാര്വതി സരിതയെയും, 4 വയസ്സും 1 വയസ്സും പ്രായമുള്ള രണ്ട് ആണ്മക്കളെയും ആദ്യം ആക്രമിച്ചു.
തുടര്ന്ന്, തനിക്കെതിരെ പോക്സോ നിയമപ്രകാരം പരാതി നല്കിയ 17 വയസ്സുകാരിയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പോയി പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ കാറില് വിജനമായ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
കുട്ടിയുടെ അവളുടെ 45 വയസ്സുകാരിയായ അമ്മയെയും 65 വയസ്സുകാരിയായ അമ്മൂമ്മയെയും ഇയാള് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി. സംഭവസമയത്ത് പെണ്കുട്ടിയുടെ ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരിയായ 20 വയസ്സുള്ള സഹോദരിയും വീട്ടിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അവര്ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടില്ല.
ആക്രമണത്തിന് ശേഷം രാജ്കുമാര് തന്റെ അച്ഛനെ വിളിച്ച് കൊലപാതകങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിനുശേഷം ഫോണ് സ്വിച്ച് ഓഫ് ചെയ്തു. താന് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യാന് പോകുകയാണെന്നും രാജ്കുമാര് പറഞ്ഞു, മുതിര്ന്ന പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന് തരുണ് ജോഷി പറഞ്ഞു.
'പ്രതി നിലവില് ഒളിവിലാണ്. പ്രത്യേക പോലീസ് സംഘങ്ങള് രൂപീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചില സൂചനകള് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഉടന് തന്നെ പിടിയിലാകും,' അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തു.
രാജ്കുമാറും പാര്വതിയും 2018-ലായിരുന്നു പ്രണയവിവാഹം കഴിച്ചത്. ദമ്പതികള് ആദ്യം ഗ്രാമത്തിന് പുറത്താണ് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നതെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് ഷാബാദിലും ദേവലഗുഡയിലുമുള്ള സ്വന്തം വീടുകളിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറി. ഇവര്ക്ക് മൂന്ന് കുട്ടികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു - ആദ്യത്തെ മകള് ജനിച്ചയുടനെ മരിച്ചു.
പ്രായപൂര്ത്തിയാകാത്ത പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ പിന്തുടര്ന്ന് ശല്യം ചെയ്തതിനും ലൈംഗികമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതിനും കേസെടുത്തതിനെ തുടര്ന്ന് മെയ് മാസത്തില് രാജ്കുമാര് അറസ്റ്റിലായിരുന്നു.
'പ്രതി പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ കോച്ചിംഗ് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടില് നിന്ന് വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പിന്തുടരുകയും പ്രണയാഭ്യര്ത്ഥന സ്വീകരിക്കാന് നിര്ബന്ധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു,' ജോഷി പറഞ്ഞു.
കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്തതിന് ശേഷം ഒളിവിലായിരുന്ന രാജ്കുമാറിന്, ചുമത്തിയ വകുപ്പുകള്ക്ക് ഏഴ് വര്ഷത്തില് താഴെ മാത്രം ശിക്ഷയുള്ളതിനാല് കോടതിയില് നിന്ന് മുന്കൂര് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചു. 20,000 രൂപയുടെ വ്യക്തിഗത ബോണ്ടിലാണ് ഇയാള്ക്ക് മുന്കൂര് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചത്. രാജ്കുമാറിന് മുന്പും പെരുമാറ്റ ദൂഷ്യങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായി പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന് പറഞ്ഞു.
'കൗണ്സലിംഗിനായി ഞങ്ങള് രണ്ട് മൂന്ന് തവണ അയാളെ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു. രാജ്കുമാറിന്റ മാനസികനില തെറ്റിയിരുന്നതായി കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞു. ചൂതാട്ട ശീലമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു, കൂടാതെ വലിയ രീതിയില് കടബാധ്യതകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു,' അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
കുട്ടികളെ ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതെന്നാണ് തോന്നുന്നതെന്നും, എന്നാല് പാര്വതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയ മുറിയില് ശക്തമായ പിടിവലി നടന്നതിന്റെ ലക്ഷണങ്ങള് കാണാനുണ്ടെന്നും വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ ബന്ധുക്കള് പറഞ്ഞു.
ഉള്ളില് നിന്ന് വാതിലുകള് അടച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നും ഫാന്, എയര് കണ്ടീഷണര്, കൂളര് എന്നിവ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന നിലയിലായിരുന്നുവെന്നും അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.
സംഭവത്തിന് മുമ്പ് വലിയ തര്ക്കങ്ങളൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും മുന് ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരവും പാര്വതി ബന്ധുക്കളോട് സാധാരണ രീതിയിലാണ് സംസാരിച്ചതെന്നും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞു.
ഫോറന്സിക് സംഘങ്ങള് സംഭവസ്ഥലങ്ങള് പരിശോധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് സംഭവങ്ങളുടെ ക്രമം വിശകലനം ചെയ്യുകയും കൃത്യമായ കൊലപാതക കാരണം കണ്ടെത്താനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലുമാണ്.
Summary: In Telangana's Ranga Reddy district, a man out on bail murdered his wife and children, and subsequently killed a teenage girl who had filed a sexual harassment complaint against him, along with her mother and grandmother.
The accused, Rajkumar (35), first attacked his 30-year-old wife, Parvathi Saritha, and their two sons, aged 4 and 1, at their residence in Shahbad on Friday night.
Following this, he went to the house of the 17-year-old girl who had filed a complaint against him under the POCSO Act. He took the girl in a car to an isolated location and murdered her. He also killed the girl's 45-year-old mother and 65-year-old grandmother. Although the girl's 20-year-old disabled sister was present in the house during the incident, she was not harmed.
After the attack, Rajkumar called his father, informed him about the murders, and subsequently switched off his phone. He also mentioned that he was going to commit suicide, according to senior police officer Tarun Joshi.
"The accused is currently at large. Special police teams have been formed, and we have received some leads. He will be apprehended soon," he added.
Rajkumar and Parvathi had a love marriage in 2018. Although the couple initially lived outside the village, they later moved back to their own houses in Shahbad and Devalguda. They had three children—their first daughter passed away shortly after birth.
Rajkumar was arrested in May after a case was registered against him for stalking and sexually harassing the minor girl.
"The accused used to follow the girl home from her coaching institute and was forcing her to accept his romantic proposals," Joshi said.
After the case was registered, Rajkumar went into hiding. However, since the offenses registered against him carried a punishment of less than seven years, he secured anticipatory bail from the court. He was granted anticipatory bail on a personal bond of ₹20,000. The police officer noted that Rajkumar had a history of behavioral issues.
"We had called him two or three times for counseling. His family members stated that Rajkumar was mentally unstable. He had a gambling habit and was also under a mountain of debt," the officer said.
Relatives who visited the house said it appeared the children were murdered while they were asleep. However, the room where Parvathi's body was found showed signs of a violent struggle.
They added that the doors were locked from the inside, and the fan, air conditioner, and cooler were left running.
Family members mentioned that there were no major disputes prior to the incident, and Parvathi had spoken to her relatives in a completely normal manner the previous evening.
Forensic teams have inspected the crime scenes. Investigating officers are analyzing the sequence of events and are working to determine the exact motive behind the murders.
