വര്‍ക്കലയില്‍ ട്രെയിനില്‍ നിന്ന് മദ്യപന്‍ യുവതിയെ ട്രാക്കിലേക്ക് തള്ളിയിട്ടു; നില അതീവ ഗുരുതരം, പ്രതി പിടിയില്‍

വര്‍ക്കല: വര്‍ക്കലയില്‍ ഓടുന്ന ട്രെയിനില്‍ നിന്ന് മദ്യപന്‍ ട്രാക്കിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിട്ട യുവതി അതീവ ഗുരുതര നിലയില്‍. യുവതിക്ക് ശരീരത്തില്‍ മുറിവുകള്‍ ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും ആന്തരിക രക്തസ്രാവമുണ്ടെന്ന് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് വെള്ളറട പനച്ചമൂട് സ്വദേശി സുരേഷ് കുമാറിനെ കസ്റ്റഡിയില്‍ എടുത്തു. ഇയാള്‍ കൊച്ചുവേളി സ്‌റ്റേഷനില്‍ ഇറങ്ങി രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് പിടികൂടിയത്. ഇയാള്‍ മദ്യപിച്ചിരുന്നു.

കേരള എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് ട്രെയിനിലെ ജനറല്‍ കമ്പാര്‍ട്ടുമെന്റില്‍ നിന്നാണ് യുവതിയെ തള്ളിയിട്ടത്. ഒരു പ്രകോപനവുമില്ലാതെ ഇയാള്‍ യുവതിയെ ചവിട്ടി പുറത്തേയ്ക്കിടുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ദൃകസാക്ഷിയായ യുവതി പറഞ്ഞു. താന്‍ ടോയ്‌ലറ്റില്‍ പോയി പുറത്തേയ്ക്കിറങ്ങുമ്പോഴാണ് യുവതിയെ നടുവില്‍ ചവിട്ടി പുറത്തേയ്ക്കിട്ടത്. പിന്നാലെ തന്നെയും പുറത്തേയ്ക്കു തള്ളാന്‍ ശ്രമമുണ്ടായെങ്കിലും മറ്റൊരു യാത്രക്കാരന്‍ രക്ഷിച്ചുവെന്ന് അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

ആശുപത്രിയിലുള്ള യുവതിയുടെ വിലാസം ലഭ്യമല്ല. ആലുവയില്‍ നിന്നാണ് അവര്‍ ടിക്കറ്റെടുത്തത്. അയന്തി പാലത്തിനു സമീപമാണ് യുവതി വീണുകിടന്നത്. കേരള എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് കടന്നുപോയ ശേഷം എതിരേ വന്ന മെമു ട്രെയിന്‍ നിറുത്തിയാണ് ട്രാക്കിനരികില്‍ കിടന്ന യുവതിയെ വര്‍ക്കലയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചത്. വര്‍ക്കലയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഗുരുതര നിലയിലായതിനാല്ഡ ആംബുലന്‍സില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

In connection with the incident, Suresh Kumar, a native of Panachamoodu, Vellarada, has been taken into custody. He was apprehended while trying to escape after getting off the train at Kochuveli station. He was confirmed to be under the influence of alcohol.

The woman was pushed out of the general compartment of the Kerala Express train. A female eyewitness stated that the accused kicked the woman out without any provocation. The witness mentioned that when she stepped out of the toilet, the man kicked the victim out. Following that, he attempted to push her (the witness) out as well, but she was rescued by another passenger.
