ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: കോടികള് വിലമതിക്കുന്ന വജ്രാഭരണങ്ങള് കാണാതായ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില് തിരുവനന്തപുരം ശ്രീപത്മനാഭസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ 'ബി' നിലവറ തുറക്കണമെന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി നിര്ദ്ദേശിച്ചു.
വജ്രാഭരണങ്ങള് കാണാതായതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഹര്ജി പരിഗണിക്കവെ ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് അധ്യക്ഷനായ ബെഞ്ചാണ് ഇക്കാര്യം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത്.
നിലവറ തുറന്നില്ലെങ്കില് ദുരൂഹത നിലനില്ക്കും. നിലവറ തുറന്നാല് ആരുടെയും വികാരം വ്രണപ്പെടില്ല. നിലവറയിലെ കണക്കെടുപ്പിന്റെ സുതാര്യത ഉറപ്പാക്കണം. അമിക്കസ് ക്യൂറി ഇക്കാര്യം രാജകുടുംബവുമായി ആലോചിക്കണമെന്നും സുപ്രീം കോടതി നിര്ദ്ദേശിച്ചു. നിലവറ തുറക്കല് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രശ്നമാണെന്നായിരുന്നു തിരുവിതാംകൂര് രാജകുടുംബം കോടതിയില് അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് പ്രത്യേകം സുരക്ഷാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ നിയമിക്കണം. ദിവസേനയുള്ള വരവ് ചെലവ് കണക്കുകള് പരിശോധിക്കാന് ഫിനാന്സ് കണ്ട്രോളറെ നിയമിക്കണമെന്നും സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാരിനോട് കോടതി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ഇക്കാര്യത്തില് രണ്ടാഴ്ചയ്ക്കകം റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് സമര്പ്പിക്കണം.
എട്ട് വജ്രങ്ങള് കണാതായത് അന്വേഷിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യം കോടതി തള്ളി. വജ്രങ്ങള് കാണാനില്ലെന്ന് അമിക്കസ്ക്യൂറി ഗോപാല് സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യം കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഇതോടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കോടികളുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളുടെ വിഷയം വീണ്ടും സജീവ ചര്ച്ചയില് വരികയാണ്.
The Supreme Court has directed that the 'B' vault of the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple should be opened in the backdrop of missing diamond jewelery worth crores.
The bench headed by the chief justice recommended the matter for consideration of the disappearance of diamond jewelery.
Opening the vault does not hurt anyone's emotion. Make transparency in measuring in the jwellary. The Supreme Court has directed that Amicus Curie should discuss this with the royal family. The Travancore royal family was informed in the court that the opening of the vault is a problem of faith.
The court also asked the state government to appoint a finance controller to check the daily expenditure figures. The report should be submitted within two weeks in this regard.
