പക്ഷേ, മധ്യനിരയില്‍ ആര്‍. അശ്വിന്‍ (47), പാണ്ഡ്യ (50) എന്നിവര്‍ തകര്‍ത്തടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ അറുനൂറു റണ്‍സിലേക്കു കുതിച്ചെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
മുഹമ്മദ് ഷമി 30 റണ്‍സ് നേടി. ഉമേഷ് യാദവ് 11 റണ്‍സോടെ പുറത്താകാതെ നിന്നു.
